This Jimmy John's customer service is pretty much the best customer service I have ever experienced anywhere! Here's why:
It was a very windy day! I had just pulled up to Main St. Pizza (next door to Jimmy John's). About 15 seconds after I had parked, one of Jimmy John's outdoor table umbrellas was taken up by the wind, flew out of its stand, and went crashing into my car's windshield. The umbrella had flown about 25 feet and the impact was strong enough that it cracked my windshield in several places. I was in my car when it happened. No one was hurt. My car windshield was the only piece of property damaged.
Immediately two of Jimmy John's employees came out and made sure everyone was alright. One of the employees immediately began apologizing and asking me for personal information so that her managers could contact me to arrange repairs for my vehicle.
In less than two days I was at the car shop with one of Jimmy John's agents. When I arrived at the shop he told me that he had payed for the repairs. He even went and brought me Jimmy John's for lunch, free of charge! (That was actually my first time eating Jimmy John's! And it was delicious!). The car shop told me they were putting in one of the higher-end windshields, they also told me (after I did some information digging) that the repair would have run me $280!
Now allow me to point out a few of things: I wasn't even going to eat at Jimmy John's when the accident occurred, the accident was not their fault, and they took the initiative every step of the way by texting and calling me until the repairs were complete. They went above and beyond their already excellent customer service by purchasing a higher-than-normal quality windshield and providing me with a complementary lunch from Jimmy John's. I guarantee you would be hard pressed to find another business that treated someone this well.
In a world where customer service is a practically non-existent and foreign concept, Jimmy John's far exceeded my expectations by not only correcting the problem, but by treating me better than I deserved, for a freak accident that wasn't even their fault! Read moreI’ll just start off by saying I haven’t had problems with these guys in store or drive-thru, but let’s talk about “Freaky Fast” delivery. About a month ago, I had an order show up super late, almost 2 hours after I ordered it. When I called the store to see what was happening I was informed the order had left the store and should be around soon. Whoever I spoke with said they are short staffed which I totally understand. (Covid is the worst I get it.) so I wasn’t that upset. Fast forward to today, we had another order start getting out past an hour and a half. Around the 2 hour mark the front desk called us to tell us that a sandwich had just been delivered and was sitting downstairs. This was odd since we sent a note to Jimmy John’s directly letting them know where to deliver (2nd floor). When we called asking about this order the “Manager” belligerently told us the delivery driver had just returned and had delivered our food 2 hours previously, and that there was no way it was just barely delivered. 🤔 Then she curtly hung up the phone. That's not a big deal at all the reason i gave 2 stars is because when my order was ready they gave me A #4 labelled #12. I opened my sandwich in the car and saw that it was not my sandwich. Still not a big deal. I went back in and told them and basically had to tell them my specifications because they still didnt know what my order was.
