I am a Subway lover. However, my experiences at this location have been terrible. This week I placed mobile orders at this location on TWO separate occasions, both for TWO footlong subs.
For my first mobile order, I received a call from the store saying that because of an in-store issue with their POS system, they would not be able to fulfill my order, and told me that I would be refunded. I was grateful that they called to let me know, however, I received no such refund. What a shame!
For the second mobile order (later this week), I showed up to pick up my order at the designated time (5:45pm), only find that NO ONE was at the store. I can't even begin to understand this one.
Anyways, I filed a complaint detailing my experiences to Subway's website yesterday, and this was the response I received: "Dear [my name],
I want to take a moment to thank you for contacting me and to extend my apologies for the less than ideal experience that you had with my restaurant.
I understand that my restaurant was not open in accordance with our posted business hours. I am always looking for ways to improve the restaurant experience for my customers, so I shared your feedback with my team to prevent this from happening in the future.
Thank You for choosing Subway® restaurants." -Dale B. Asay Wow, thanks a lot Dale! Here's my feedback "to improve the restaurant experience for [your] customers": give them the food they have paid for (and you can start with my four footlongs)!
If this is the kind of customer service you are looking for, I encourage you to give your business to this location. I, however, will be taking...
Read moreI've been to this specific subway a few times, and i will admit that it inst the best. I've always considered subways to be "fresher, healthier options", but as i have gone in recently, I've noticed that many of the ingredients look kinda old... and the bacon doesn't really look cooked to me. i usually love getting bacon on sandwiches, but it's kinda discouraging when you see a pale, floppy piece of meat being placed onto your food. i also am not a huge meat lover, so the fact that they pile on the meat and skimp on the veggies much of the time can be tough, but i can usually solve this problem by asking for less meat and more veggies. also, i have had a few friends who work there, and it doesn't sound like a very good working environment. one of my friends was bullied by the manager, who tended to clock in and be earning money, even when he was sitting around. also, i can understand that it saves money to only have one manager, but honestly! the place would probably run much smoother and faster if there was a manager in store at all times. besides the benefit of speed, it is kind of against many policies to not have a manager in store at all times. every job i have worked at has someone with authority who can deal with customer issues, order supplies, help with injuries, and other such things. if this subway wants to improve, they need to start caring more about their employees, quality, and customer service. if they don't , i can see them falling of the map in a few years, especially since many other subways in town are starting to upgrade, and will often have two employees on at a time...
Read moreI always consider subway to be a more healthy option than per say, McDonald's. But that's not to say that if you add dressings to your sandwich, then it's not going to be full of calories. It totally will be.
That being said, as a pregnant woman, there are decent amount of options. However the amount of smells floating around do make first trimester morning sickness a tricky thing to work with. I typically order the tuna as my base, and I know that it's very controversial, because of rumors that they leave it sitting out for hours on end. I care less, my immune is strong, and I've never had an issue.
Prices have gone up, as most places have, supply chain issues are an issue, and inflation. I used to be able to get a 6-inch for $4.50, sometimes $5, and it would entirely fill me, I usually couldn't finish it. I do fill them entirely with vegetables after I put my meat entry inside. Lately, the bread they use is smaller, and process have gone up a dollar or more for each size.
My vegetarian siblings-in-law struggled to find the all veggies option, which I found kinda funny, but once they did, no complaints.
TLDR: Generally a good option, prices have gone up like most places, options for meat eaters and...
