Ambrosial is a delicious gluten free bakery! I've tried many and Ambrosial is my favorite. I've been loving their baked goodies for years at the local farmers market and I'm so glad I no longer have to wait for summer to come to get their food! Their new store has some counter seating by the window if you want to enjoy your treats right away. Parking is limited in the lot because of the three other restaurants that share the parking, but there is some street parking nearby.
The menu rotates from week to week. Their cinnamon rolls are very good and their Oreo rolls are even better. My favorite cookie they make is the OMG (a brown sugar cookie base with white chocolate chips and cheesecake in the middle). I don't think I've ever had such a delicious cookie before! I also recommend the stroopwafels and s'mores bars. I can't wait until they make donut holes in the shop--the ones at the market were incredible! Something to look forward to.
This was my first time ordering a hand pie. I bought the raspberry hand pie and took it home when I popped it into the microwave for a few seconds. It was delicious! I loved the filling and the pastry was flakey, light, and melt in your mouth delicious! I definitely...
Read moreI read Harry Potter for the first time in 4th grade, certain that my Hogwarts letter would arrive on my 12th birthday. Spoiler alert: it didn’t. I’ve spent the past couple decades living the tragic life of a squib — no wand, no owl, just taxes.
But this year? This year, I finally tasted the magic.
I visited Ambrosial Bakery on Harry Potter’s birthday and let me tell you — these treats were straight out of the wizarding world. Mrs. Weasley’s Chocolate Fudge? A spellbinding square of chocolatey, marshmallowy comfort. The House Butterbeer Cupcake? Moist, magical, and filled with colored sprinkles repping your Hogwarts house (I bit into mine like it was the Sorting Hat itself). And the chocolate cookie with chocolate frosting and a chocolate frog on top? My son was convinced it would hop away if he didn’t eat it fast enough.
These sweets didn’t just satisfy my sweet tooth — they healed a little part of my childhood soul. Thanks, Ambrosial Bakery, for finally giving this squib a taste of the magical world. 10/10, would apparate back in...
Read moreI have been wanting to come here for a long time, but we live over an hour away. I am very glad we made the drive because everything is delicious. The staff was super helpful and friendly, the bakery is cute and cozy. We bought almost one of everything because we don't know when we will be back. One of the ladies did let us know that Quench It sells some their gluten-free cookies there so I'll have to go see if I can find them there. Their cheesecakes are some of the best that I have every had, we got the pumpkin and the lemon. There pop tarts are light and flaky, their cookies are so soft and full of flavor. Their apple crumble bars are so buttery and melt in your mouth. I have not one bad thing to say, other than they are so far away from us. Which could be a good thing, because we would be making weekly visits for sure. I can't wait to make another drive out and see what else they offer throughout...
