Hidden gem in Provo! This restaurant served us some of the best Thai food we've had in recent months.
I ordered the Tom Kha soup expecting it to come out in a single bowl, but it came out family style! They brought us some spices (Thai chilies in oil and ground Thai chilies in fish sauce) to add to our dishes. The fish sauce really tamed the Thai chilies, because the chilies in oil added some heat! We put a small amount in our individual bowls of the Tom Kha soup and it definitely kicked it up a notch!
My husband ordered the red curry with chicken. He judges a Thai place by their red curry, and this was one of the best we've had. He ordered it medium spicy, and then added the Thai chilies in fish sauce on top.
I also got an order of pineapple fried rice. I love that it has cashews, plenty of pineapple, and zero raisins (like you find in other versions elsewhere). I couldn't finish it all, so we took the leftovers home to our kids who devoured it. They said it's one of the best they've had!
Service was great, too! This was a last-minute side quest in our day on a very busy weekend but we were so glad we...

Let’s talk Khao Man Gai. This is one of my all time favorite dishes! Simple chicken breast (fried or plain) with rice that has absorbed some of the oil from the chicken soup broth. I pour the ginger-garlic-chili pepper sauce all over the chicken and rice. Then with a spoonful of chicken and rice it is dipped into the cilantro flavored chicken broth. Very flavorful.
Step away from the Thai Curry. Step away from the Pad Thai and try a few of the best dishes that Thailand has to offer, right here in our neighborhood in Provo.
Before it was fashionable in the west to fry pork belly, the Thais had been doing it for centuries. Muu Krob is a crispy pork belly, think bacon without the smoke, that crunch-ily melts in your mouth. Add Thai basil and a fried egg, and we’re in business.
Get off your duff, and try all of the dishes at Thai Simple Dish. I was right about Thai Papaya, and I’m right about...

TL;DR Based on this one experience, I highly recommend this restaurant. The quality of food was excellent to the (low) cost of the food. We will be going back for more!
Full review: My wife and I enjoy Thai food a lot. We found this place on google and gave them a shot.
Excellent food! We ordered the Massaman Curry (my baseline to compare Thai restaurants) and it was awesome, Pineapple Currry (which was light and flavorful), Drunken Noodles (well balanced and rich flavor BUT the highlight was the great noodle texture and high quality), and the final dish we got was the sticky rice dessert (wonderful end to the meal). They added some chili sauce/paste and a traditional sliced spicy peppers in sauce on the side so that we could control our spice levels in the dishes. Both tasted great and enhanced the dishes a notable amount.
Friendly and polite service. Small but warm environment.
