Hidden gem in Provo! This restaurant served us some of the best Thai food we've had in recent months.

I ordered the Tom Kha soup expecting it to come out in a single bowl, but it came out family style! They brought us some spices (Thai chilies in oil and ground Thai chilies in fish sauce) to add to our dishes. The fish sauce really tamed the Thai chilies, because the chilies in oil added some heat! We put a small amount in our individual bowls of the Tom Kha soup and it definitely kicked it up a notch!

My husband ordered the red curry with chicken. He judges a Thai place by their red curry, and this was one of the best we've had. He ordered it medium spicy, and then added the Thai chilies in fish sauce on top.

I also got an order of pineapple fried rice. I love that it has cashews, plenty of pineapple, and zero raisins (like you find in other versions elsewhere). I couldn't finish it all, so we took the leftovers home to our kids who devoured it. They said it's one of the best they've had!

Service was great, too! This was a last-minute side quest in our day on a very busy weekend but we were so glad we...

Great food! For anyone who has lived in Thailand, these dishes are favorites for Americans that you rarely seen on a Thai restaurant menu.

Let’s talk Khao Man Gai. This is one of my all time favorite dishes! Simple chicken breast (fried or plain) with rice that has absorbed some of the oil from the chicken soup broth. I pour the ginger-garlic-chili pepper sauce all over the chicken and rice. Then with a spoonful of chicken and rice it is dipped into the cilantro flavored chicken broth. Very flavorful.

Step away from the Thai Curry. Step away from the Pad Thai and try a few of the best dishes that Thailand has to offer, right here in our neighborhood in Provo.

Before it was fashionable in the west to fry pork belly, the Thais had been doing it for centuries. Muu Krob is a crispy pork belly, think bacon without the smoke, that crunch-ily melts in your mouth. Add Thai basil and a fried egg, and we’re in business.

Get off your duff, and try all of the dishes at Thai Simple Dish. I was right about Thai Papaya, and I’m right about...

2/16/2025 - Ordered take out

TL;DR Based on this one experience, I highly recommend this restaurant. The quality of food was excellent to the (low) cost of the food. We will be going back for more!

Full review: My wife and I enjoy Thai food a lot. We found this place on google and gave them a shot.

Excellent food! We ordered the Massaman Curry (my baseline to compare Thai restaurants) and it was awesome, Pineapple Currry (which was light and flavorful), Drunken Noodles (well balanced and rich flavor BUT the highlight was the great noodle texture and high quality), and the final dish we got was the sticky rice dessert (wonderful end to the meal). They added some chili sauce/paste and a traditional sliced spicy peppers in sauce on the side so that we could control our spice levels in the dishes. Both tasted great and enhanced the dishes a notable amount.

Friendly and polite service. Small but warm environment.

Based on this one experience, I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be going...

This is a small local restaurant that's very cute. We got the green curry and Thai pho along with the mango sticky rice. All of them were very good and the owner/server was very nice too. Their pho tastes different from other phos that I've tried, but I really liked it. The soup base is different and you can choose the spice level. Same with green curry, you can choose the spice level and type of meat. The curry is kind of salty and it's perfect with rice. Their mango sticky rice was good too, but if it's your first time trying it, it might be a bit weird since it's literally a mango and a sticky rice with condensed milk. It's more like a dessert than a rice. Anyways, I'll be back to try other menus. I noticed they do a lot of pick-ups than dine-ins and my dine-in experience was great.

I ordered the Spicy Basil Crispy Pork, as recommended by the owner. It was delicious! I was a little nervous because I have never had Thai street food, but I am very happy I decided to try it out. The food here is flavorful and the portion sizes are generous. The owner is very kind and helpful. He was more than happy to explain the different dishes to me. He let me try the cilantro soup and he also let me try the new massaman beef! (Both tasty, by the way) Additionally, the owner double-checked if I was a student or served in the military because he wanted to make sure to give me a discount, if I qualified. I look forward to returning in the near future.
