I walked in. I ordered Street tacos four el Pastore and four Carne Asada both with just onions and cilantro as well as chicken enchiladas with green sauce then an extra order 8 ounce rice 8 ounce beans. They seem to be busy cleaning up, which I totally understand is about 20 minutes till closing so I got my order and I left. I live about 15 minutes away got home. They gave me enchiladas with red sauce no cilantro or onions on any of the tacos, and the El Pastore had pineapple so I called back to let them know and to see what can be done about it because I wouldn’t make it back in time for them to fix my order because they close at 8. As soon as I let them know, they told me to hold then proceeded to let me sit on the phone for five minutes while I just heard them talking in the background literally, it was five minutes, which is a very long time so I hung up and I called back A different gentleman answered when I told him my situation he told me He was very sorry about the enchiladas and as far as the tacos I left before he could tell me that I was supposed to get my own onions and cilantro. I let him know that I ordered the tacos with onions and cilantro, but all he would say was very sorry you can come back And get your onions and cilantro, which I felt was kind of rude because that’s very inconvenient on my end. I told him Never mind, I’ll just eat the food because I’m already at my place with my kids. I picked the pineapple off And I guess I’m just never gonna go back there again. Extremely disappointed because I just moved here and I’m looking for an excellent Mexican place and I understand mistakes I don’t understand not owning up to them. this place seemed great until they weren’t. And I’m only speaking as far as the service the food is excellent. Someone please tell me to try them again because I am blown away at the lack of professionalism and customer service Sonora market Carniceria...
Read moreWELL. We went in for some famously authentic and tasty tacos only to have our little hearts broken by being told the kitchen is closed. That isn't their fault so the star wasn't deducted for that reason. We did get some raw fajita fixings since the craving was strong. We would just have to make it at home which wasn't an issue AND it would fill our house with the smell of a thousand awesome memories of family dinners together as well as make the neighbors drool the second the scent hit them. So, yes I am saying the food is FANTASTIC. The star was deducted simply because I asked the employee to recommend some authentic hand made tortillas. She pointed out some tortillas that looked like someone's abuela slaved all morning making and cooking them over the fire. I was IN THEM once she said a little old lady made them from scratch, as if my forehead were just cleaned with windex and that bruha could see my thoughts. I fell for it. The fajitas were perfectly seasoned and you could taste the freshness. Until the taste of fire roasted cardboard invaded my taste buds. That tortilla totally ruined a good bite of fajita. My family went on to eat the fajitas without the tortilla. It was a sad sight. Otherwise, the four stars were entirely for the awesome fajitas. I do recommend! Just don't trust their 'old lady handmade tortillas'. Shes probably not even a grama. Or Mexican. She might not even be a...
Read moreChips and extra tortillas were good. Red salsa has a great burn to it. There was plenty of food. Thank good I had my own plasticware in my semi as they neglected to add any. Beans and rice bland just like every Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at except fast food. The chimichanga, well, while it tasted good, it was like shredded beef on the bottom of 6-7 layers of tortillas and then wrapped up in a larger tortilla. The shell was very tough to cut into and to eat. Now the terrible: stay away from the empanadas. I ordered the mini assortment and they were way overbaked, drier than Death Valley, the fillings were more stiff than a flagpole, and more tasteless than water. Absolutely disgusting. My assessment is that if I ever do come back to Pueblo again, I will not be...
