The Honey Baked Ham Company — Restaurant in Pueblo

Our favorite lunch spot, Schlep's, was closed for some reason so we came here instead for the first time. Their special of the day was a turkey sandwich, potato salad, and a drink for $7.99. We ordered one special to split between us.

The drink cup was giant and the salad portion quite large. The turkey sandwich looked small but actually had a lot of meat. The potato salad was very good but the turkey sandwich was just OK. The sweet dressing that they used overwhelmed any turkey taste.

Service was extremely quick and friendly. Since this place has been here for decades, and is in an older shopping center, the store and restaurant was quite big which was nice. Also nice was the many big windows that were very clean so it was quite bright. The facility was also clean but mildly worn and somewhat dated.

Placed a catering order on-line. I received a call 2 days later telling me they couldn’t do it. When I inquired as to why the response was that they had a larger catering job to do and they would t have the time. WTH?! I guess HBHCo only cares to provide their services for large parties and anything less is just a waste of their time. Unbelievable!! I guess business is just that good in Pueblo where they don’t need mine. I’m glad it happened though as Rocco’s Deli, even though they don’t have a catering service, was Far Superior and most professional. Thanks HBHCo for sucking so much! Thank you Rocco’s Deli for appreciating my small order of 20 sandwiches and sides. My small business that holds 2-4 meetings a quarter...

Not sure where to start it was so damn good!! very clean and neat dining area and The staff was very helpful and patient with our questions while ordering. Then the sandwhichs came out and absolutely slapped !! the traditional turkey, the chicken salad, the tavern club, and classic ham each on a different bread/bun were all equally astonishing!! the thick cuts of ham and turkey were juicy and full of flavor. Then the sides the broccoli bacon bliss a cold broccoli cole slaw type side was a mind bender and must try soo good!! the potato salad is also a stand out bussin side to go with any sandwhich! cant wait to get back asap and try the soups...
