Ordered through the app last night. There was an issue where we were unable to select black olives as a pizza topping. We had to select green olives instead. We called and spoke to the manager on duty and she assured us that she would make sure the correct toppings were on the pizza. After an hour and a half, the pizza had not arrived and we called back to inquire about it. The manager informed us then that she didn't have an order listed for us despite us having email conformation and having spoken to her directly earlier in the evening. Apparently at some point the order had been changed to be a carryout order rather than delivery. An honest, easily fixable mistake, but the manager was very unhelpful in even locating the order in the first place. Things go from bad to worse here. At this point because the delivery charge was now added and we were ordering pizza for our kids at home and had not left them enough cash, we paid over the phone with the card. The delivery driver arrived a short time after that and, without informing my 16 year old nephew that the order had been paid for, nor did he have him sign anything, accepted the entire $60 that was originally intended to cover the order in cash. So at this point, we had paid with the card, and my nephew paid again in cash. In total, the driver walked away with $50 extra as my nephew asked for $10 back so the driver could have a $10 tip. To add insult to injury, the ranch was exploded all over everything and the pizza was covered in green olives, with a makeshift aluminum foil pouch of black olives on the side. When I called this morning to inform Philip, the manager, of this grievous error as we did not discover what had happened until after the store was closed last night, he asked me to allow him an hour to talk to his delivery driver and to call me back with a resolution. Surprise! Philip never called me back. After two hours of waiting, I called back, only to be informed that when Philip spoke with his manager and the delivery driver, they informed him that the same person paid by card and handed the cash to the driver (untrue and impossible, easily verified by our doorbell camera) and that it was only making change for $20 as requested for the tip. This is a blatant lie and a manipulation designed so the delivery driver could keep his excessive "tip". Instead of making this right in any way, and not even acknowledging the incorrect order and poor handling of the order, Philip informed me that because his delivery driver said nothing happened that he would not be taking any action to rectify the situation and to dispute the charge with our card company if we needed resolution. So that is what we have done. We have also reported this business to the corporate office and to the BBB. Shame on you and your company for taking advantage of people like this and doing absolutely nothing to...
Read moreThis started at a Pueblo, Colorado store. It now has moved it's branches to all BLACKJACK PIZZAS in Pueblo, Colorado Springs and Denver. areas. I have NEVER BEEN MORE BADLY TREATED IN MY LIFE. I first, bought a Trio for $24.12. Thinking this would be good for my elderly//disabled weekend meals with the big storm blowing in, it seemed so heavenly! The deliverer came to the door asking for $24.12. I had two $20 bills. He did not know hot to make change, or pretended not to. I told him just to give me the currency and to keep the change. He would have gotten more if it wasn't from the act. Do some say keep all $15.98 of it? For a 21 dollar order? He left but as I already stated I am disabled! I tried to eat the pizza and it was hard and not cut, so had to TEAR my pieces off. The same went for the cheeses bread and the Desert cake. None of them were cut! When I called and talked with the manager , he immediately eluded to I was lying as they don't make mistakes on all three! There slicer, I presume is brand new and infallible! I asked to talk with a district manager, and he stated that he did not even know if they have one, but with much argument, said he would relay my phone to the executive office. I then found out that the business has been sold to Askar and was going to be an immediate file 13 on my request. I proceeded to call other Black Jack Pizzas from Colorado springs to Denver. to find out how to lodge a complaint. None of the knew if they even has a District manager, a home office, etc, and the we go into what the managers of the stores did! I got hung up on, told to hold and they would check (then hung up on) screamed at by the managers, and told "yeh, it does matter to me" and immediately hung up on when I stated it shouldn't mater to get my info to reporting authorities, since they were not the ones being reported. I was berated, ignored, ans at the very least made to realize what kind of a company that Black Jack really is. Perhaps me going to the media and social sites is a better way to get things done....
Read moreI'm very sad that black Jack Pizza has let me down. The first pizza I ordered was doughy near the crust so I got them to reissue another one and they made it clear they wanted the old Pizza no problem but the second one is also doughy. So I guess I'll just eat the center the pizza which is pretty much where all the toppings are anyway there's about 2 inches from the crust no toppings. I will never order Blackjack Pizza again and I will let everybody know. They're now on the list with Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Papa Murphy's heck there's no more pizza shops left other than Domino's and you got to watch them closely. when I first ate Blackjack Pizza it reminded me of New York style pizza now I feel like I'm dumpster diving for food I am very sad cuz I like Blackjack Pizza I gave them a lot of compliments. I don't know what's going on in that kitchen not to be able to cook a pizza fully is the oven temperature off is the time off or are the people off. If I wasn't so hungry I'd make them come and get this pizza and just give me back my money. Post edit: Okay I'm pissed off I can't even eat the center this pizza it is definitely not fully cooked so now that I'm pissed that's not good for Blackjack Pizza I'll hold a sign in front of the shop letting everyone know. I work hard for my money and I want to get what I paid for and I'm not getting what I paid for. Just a nasty-ass Pizza and please take the time to chop up the vegetables completely this pizza is pathetic and sad. I can see them shutting down within a year if they keep going this way I don't know what the hell is wrong with these people but I'm not happy with this pizza or their service or attitude. Stay away from Blackjack Pizza until they get better management or a new pizza place comes into town. My poor wife who will eat any damn thing even says it's way off. I'm now getting sick to my stomach I don't like raw dough it...
