Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Wait

I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired. While the staff was friendly and welcoming when we arrived, the service was incredibly slow. We ended up waiting just under an hour for our food, which made us late to our next plans—and honestly, the food wasn’t worth the wait.

I ordered the chicken and waffles, and it was a huge letdown. The fried chicken was so overcooked and tough that I couldn’t even bite through it. On top of that, it was overwhelmingly salty—borderline inedible. The waffles underneath were completely soggy, and the chili honey sauce they served with it had an off taste that didn’t help things at all. I ended up skipping it and just used syrup, which didn’t do much to save the dish.

The only things I can say were remotely positive were the breakfast potatoes, which were decent, and the staff, who were kind despite the delays. But overall, the food quality and wait time made this a really disappointing experience. I won’t be...

Came here because they claimed the be the number one brunch spot. However the waiter was distracted and got the order wrong multiple times. I ordered avocado toast with salmon and they continued to bring avocado toast with jam. Then they added the salmon on top. The waiter also brought scrambled eggs although I ordered over easy eggs. They “attempted” to fix the order, but they just kept bringing the wrong thing. I also ordered an americano and they got that wrong too. It was mainly milk, you couldn’t even taste the coffee. Worst experience ever. Also, for a moment I thought it was a language barrier but I ordered everything in Spanish and in English as I am a fluent speaker in both languages. The waitress was wearing AirPods the whole time which is probably why she got the order wrong...

Stopped in for a quick beach lunch and glad we did. Service was nice and attentive, the food was excellent.

I ordered the Steak and Eggs and my son ordered a grilled cheese with fries. The skirt steak was excellent. Very tender and tasted like it has definitely been marinating in something. The eggs and potatoes were also cooked well. Hope you’re hungry because it’s a lot of food.

My son’s grilled cheese was as good as a grilled cheese could be it didn’t slow him down. However the fries that came with his grilled cheese were awesome, seasoned and cooked perfectly.
