This place consists of many kiosks dedicated to food, drinks, and souvenirs. It is located right behind the beach, which makes it of easy access to jump from one place to the other. During the day it's a great place for families to gather and eat, with a variety of sea food and the local "frituras" (fried food). And during the night it is a good place for "socializing" and drinking due to several kiosks that serve drinks and play music. It is a good spot for tourists since they have several gift shops with local items and Puerto Rico-stamped souvenirs, like cloth, hammocks, flip flops, towels, and other items, though many of these gift shops close at around 5pm. They also have an automatic ice machine that sells a large bag for $3, perfect for those carrying a cooler. Sundays are packed with people and loud music. It is extremely entertaining if you are into that sort of thing. The view of the water is amazing but usually there is litter everywhere. Be careful where you park if you drive. I give it two stars because of the lack of trash receptacles in much needed places and the amount of litter after the weekends. It wasn't this trashy a couple times so I am hoping I got there the day after a big event. I have seen this place busy at 2-3 o'clock a.m. on my way to...
Read moreThis isn't like a continental US bank of kiosks. We didn't see many people that we identified as "tourists " at least making you feel like you are getting an experience usually reserved for locals. The food is outrageous! We have been here for 3 meals in the last couple days. The ceviche house is extremely good. The rule is you can only drink medella light, my rule at least. You can't pick a wrong place to eat and everyone is extremely nice. It's loud, but not rowdy. Enjoy...
