What a gem! I placed our take-out order with Megan (family-run business), & she is delightful! I figured dinner would be good just based on our chat, but I almost cried tears of joy when I popped the first tortilla chip in my mouth as I unpacked our order last night. The pub-made chips weren’t only crisp and perfectly fried, but also lightly spiced! Chili powder? And their guacamole is a revelation. I could have eaten just chips & guac for dinner. (I lived briefly in San Antonio & Austin years ago, and haven’t had great Mexican food again until now.) My veggie black bean, rice, & cheese burrito was incredible, and my husband’s 1 lb beef burrito was equally delicious. The salsas for wet toppings were yummy—B. got a medium-hot red sauce he loved & I got a creamy pale green sauce with milder spice, cilantro & maybe some avocado? I loved it & I’ll ask what is the next time we order... in about 2 days! I would have written this review last night, but I ate so much wonderful Tex-Mex that I lapsed into a...
Read moreRed Card is an absolute hidden treasure for those who appreciate exceptional beers and tantalizing tacos. What truly sets this place apart, besides the outstanding offerings, is the unparalleled customer service provided by the dynamic duo, Greg and Gena. Greg's remarkable ability to remember names turns patrons into friends, not just customers.
The synergy between Greg and Gena is nothing short of inspiring. Their commitment to running this pub together is evident in the warm and welcoming atmosphere they've cultivated. While I'd love to keep Red Card a secret, its well-deserved popularity has made it a bustling hotspot.
If you haven't experienced Red Card yet, it's time to join the ranks of those who have uncovered this gem. Just be prepared for the crowd – this place is undeniably one of our...
Read moreThis is the first time i have written a review for a Pullman restaurant and i grew up in the area. This place is phenomenal. If you want REAL Mexican food flavor/spicing then you have got to try this place! I love Mexican food but there isn't a lot of good options around the Palouse, and this fills the void nicely at a super affordable price. When you get chips and salsa, you will get four different dipping options, which are all delicious. On top of great food, the owners are very friendly and we loved talking with them. It felt like we were just at a good friends house enjoying the night. This is a big deal in a small town! Also, there is a nice outdoor area that you can sit to enjoy food/drinks as well. Overall very satisfied with this place and will be returning on a...
