Taqueria Las Torres — Restaurant in Pullman

Like others have stated here, the food is expensive except on Tuesdays and really is mediocre at best. My last visit(2 weeks ago) was a reminder to me that I shouldn't' have wasted my time going there. 30 dollars got me 6 small tacos and a taco salad to feed 3 people which left everyone hungry. We would have been much better off going to Taco Time and ordered their normal size tacos(over twice the size of the taqueria las torres tacos)and for 30 dollars we would have been full with roughly the same quality of food. I love competition amongst restaurants so we have more places to choose from, but I can honestly say I will not be going back to Taqueria Las Torres. Let me make myself perfectly clear, if there was a sixth star that I could award this place, I would do so. If there was a seventh star, I would do so. But alas, I can only express the love I have for this taco truck in 5 gleaming stars. I have been going here for roughly a year now and the food is always fresh. The flavor is always immaculate. The staff is always friendly and fast. But man… those tacos are just otherworldly. Flavored to perfection. If I could only eat one thing for the rest of time it would probably be the tacos from this truck. Very Mediocre Mexican food. Had all the types of tacos, their wet burrito was small and the red sauce was bland. The carnitas lack any interesting texture, the steak taste like nothing, the best thing was the marinated pork and the marinate was watered down. All side orders are extra. I'm from Los Angeles, you can get way better quality for the same price and don't get charged for side orders. I'm stunned that a plate of food would consist of a carrot slice. The chile de arbol sauce is very good and spicy, I haven't had the whole menu but I do drive by this food truck on the way home, I no longer get a dopamine rush...
