I found Sam Dial Jewelers through a Google search. I was looking for an anniversary band with a very specific design, and I was having trouble finding what I wanted. I found something similar, and was pointed to Sam Dial Jewelers. I did some research before I called them, and I found that they have a simply Stellar reputation. And so I called them, spoke to Ann, and ended up with a custom anniversary band created according to my exact specifications. The thing that makes this whole experience noteworthy is that I am in Upstate New York, and many of you already know did Sam Dial Jewelers is in Washington State. But based on the reviews that I read it looked like a risk-free transaction. And the finished product is a ring I couldn't be happier with. I was looking to replace a ring given to me Long Ago by my husband, who is now deceased, but I ended up with the ring it is far nicer. The diamonds are a beautiful quality, and the setting is quite a bit more substantial than the original. And the whole transaction was executed with consummate professionalism from start to finish. At the recommendations of multiple family members had my beautiful, unique, custom wedding ring sized here, and it feels like it will never be the same again. The first time I was in, they used the wrong sizers for my finger and determined to cut it down to a 4.25. When I got the ring back a week later, it easily slid off and on my finger and threatened too fall of it was so loose. Back to the jeweler. They re-resize my ring to a 3.75 and are unsure if they can fix it for free or not. One week later, my husband picks up my ring, and it looks totally different. My ring was originally duel tone white gold with little rose gold cherry blossoms, and without asking, they rhodium plated over the whole design, making it all one color. My husband expressed our extreme dissatisfaction, and they agreed to fix it. The next time my husband got it back, they still hadn't gotten all of the rhodium off of it. Now I finally have my ring back, but the rose gold is significantly lighter and less vibrant than before, and the antiquing that was previously in the flower details to bring them out is gone. They say the color should oxidize back in about 3 weeks, but in the meantime, I am left with a ring that doesn't look like it did when my husband proposed, and that is truly devastating.
