Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Punta Gorda

We have ordered from Papa John's for years. Last order they delivered the sauces and seasonings to the wrong customer. Keep in mind the sauces are not in sealed packaging. They wanted the driver to go to the other house and get my sauces & seasonings back that I paid extra for..... I told them I didn't feel comfortable with that due to it not being a sealed container.... the lady said.... "Well I don't think they touched them"..... seriously....why... just why... they could have just offered to credit me or refund the $10ish that I paid for the extras... nope... I asked if they could just credit the account... oh... ok...... never received a credit.... never received a refund for it.... never received a follow up call.... it's really sad how bad this location has declined. I would tell everyone before this incident about the wonderful employees and the great food. Not anymore. In my opinion, if you will send someone to pick up the sauces from the wrong house... imagine the subpar standards that could potentially be in the actual location. Very disappointed. Thankfully I found a wonderful mom and pop pizza shop in Punta Gorda off of Duncan Rd and they are wonderful. Never...

Ordered a specialty pizza - vegetarian - first one since I got out of the hospital. Our favorite pizza place is closed. Tried to order online, couldn't check out after several attempts. Called my order in. Asked for 1 additional topping, thin crust and square cut. Picked it up & drove home. It was supposed to be a Spinach & tomato Alfredo pizza. We asked them to add mushrooms. Opened the box. No square cut. No spinach. Slimy Alfredo sauce. So I paid extra for the mushrooms minus the spinach??? Never been a fan of Papa John, but it was on my way home from Walgreens. We ordered a $40 with tip pepperoni stuffed crust pizza and added multiple toppings to create Supreme style pizza. 45 minutes later we received a cheesy Alfredo pizza. We called the store, let them know there had been a mix up and initially were told that they would send us the correct pizza out and we would receive a future pizza for free. An hour later we called them back after still not receiving the pizza we ordered and paid for and were told they were not sending us the pizza we paid for but we would have a future credit.
