Living here in South Mississippi, we are blessed with a plethora of Catfish Restaurants/House's/Shacks/Camps, etc., which means many of us are lucky enough to eat at many of these Catfish eateries, and in turn we develop a very personal expectation of a Catfish Meal. That said, Cuevas just didn't get anywhere near our expectations. Service was good, and though the food wasn't bad, it just wasn't really good either. The highlight of the meal was the Fried Dill Pickles, & it was the fact that they were not overly salty, and the biggest let down was the Hushpuppies, they seemed like they were possibly made in advance and then reheated right at service, because they were really packy. The slaw was edible, but nothing special & the whole Fish was good, but could have been cooked a little longer. All in All, there just wasn't anything about our meal that would make Cuevas one of the 1st places I'd consider if I was craving Catfish.

Two different couples ordered the all you can eat fish platter. They brought only one platter to be shared by both couples. Not sanitary eating off the same platter. All you can eat fried Catfish whole or Fillets !!! FANTASTIC!!!!! AMY was our server... ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PERSONALITY... NICE CROWD, SERVICE WAS TIMELY AND WONDERFUL.... THE FRIED MUSHROOMS AND JALAPENO PEPPER SLICES WERE WOW !!! HUGE LIST OF APPETIZERS.. CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK THE SHRIMP AN OYSTERS LOOKED SCRUMPTIOUS!!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR A GREAT EVENING AND EATING EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR CREW !!! SEE YOU ALL AGAIN SOON !!!!

Do you like fried catfish, ff, hush puppies, coleslaw, and all you can eat. Then this is the place to go and eat. Food is delicious, plus they have seniors and childrens menus. Also have your choice of filets or whole catfish on the all you can eat. Don't want this much food, they do have other menu items to choose from. Waitresses are fast, friendly, and courteous. And at the end of your meal you have your choice between vanilla or chocolate blue bell ice cream in a small cup and its free. What a way to finish off a...
