Rio Grande — Restaurant in Purvis

This place is over priced for the mediocre at best food. Everyone has a meal that the order to test the quality of the food. Mine is tamales. I love the rich flavor of the masa combined with the beef or chicken bouillon light mixed in, to the great fillings. This place was a joke. Bland, over priced, and 1 step above Taco Bell. If someone told me to rate this place I would give it a 2. The people kept coming to check if we liked the food which is another bad sign. If you have to ask your doing it wrong. Will not be trying this place again. I have heard of another place close I may try and hope it is nothing like this place.

To the owner. It is pointless to send me any notice about this experience as I will never step foot in this establishment again. I do appreciate the hospitality but this doesn’t return to my thoughts...

Went for a birthday dinner and although it was great company , the food was good but yanno for jus two crunchy tacos beans and rice the prices seemed high. An adult plate should come with at least 3 tacos. Tacos are CHEAP! I guess I was supposed to fill up on the extra large coke they bring you that is actually a small water pitcher. Way to much drink! The birthday girl received I think a fried flour tortillas,sprinkled with a hint of cinnamon I think. It had a basic taste of which none of us was sure of. The employees seemed to be doing the minimum. And no one wants the whip topping smeared on their face while wearing the same sombaro worn by every other person having a bday (that in itself makes me uneasy). I appreciate the fact they took time to sing happy bday but don't do it if ur looking like they...

We ordered online for pickup because it came with a coupon. They refused to give us our order because we hadn't paid full price. What would they have told a delivery driver if we were in range for one? That they couldn't pick up our order because they didn't get enough money? Surprise Rio Grande, sometimes when you work with a third party for delivery and online ordering, they have coupons. It's not that we choose to pay partial, that's the price we're given.
