Based on the cost of their scoops, it was hard not to compare them to Washington’s other creameries. The ice cream at Lick had great texture, didn’t melt quickly, and the smell of the waffle cones when entering the establishment was inviting. However, the flavors of the ice cream were generic and artificial.
Tried two different flavors: coffee and banana cream pie. The coffee ice cream did not have any strong notes of coffee bean or that rich, bitter espresso aroma and the banana cream pie seemed to be doused in vanilla extract or banana flavoring.
