Normally I don't write bad reviews but this experience left such a bad taste in my mouth (literally and metaphorically), I had to. I've never had a bad experience at this location before today, everyone I've interacted with has been generally nice and did their job. I went in at 5:30am, and ordered an iced cappuccino and an everything bagel. The lady who served me at the register was very kind and patient with me while I figured out what I wanted to order. Upon receiving my cappuccino, it was almost pure white from all the milk. I decided to give it a try because maybe the espresso was stronger than normal, but It really was very milky and much to creamy for my taste. I decided to wait patiently for my bagel before asking someone if I could get one with less cream. It's important to note that I'm not a confrontational person AT ALL, and I normally don't like to complain, but I thought It was such a simple request that maybe it would be okay, and if they said no I wasn't going to throw a fit about it. The lady was older maybe early 60s and quite tall, immediately upon asking she got very stand-off ish. Maybe she read my tone wrong, which would be on me, but it was a very uncomfortable situation. She didn't seem to get my question AT ALL and proceeded to tell me that in order to put less cream she would need to put something in (she gave the example of flavoring), and I calmly explained to her that I simply wanted less cream. She kept explaining that, "that's all a cappuccino is, is cream and espresso!". I was already feeling uncomfortable so I just asked if it was pre-mixed (which would make sense if they couldn't change the rationing), and she responded with no, so I told her it was okay and that I would just take it as is. I felt very put-down and again, am not a confrontational person, it was early and I just wanted my coffee and I already felt like I was going to have an anxiety attack from all the confusion. She said "no" when I told her I would just take it and that it was fine, which ?????? I was extremely confused! Just then another worker intervened and asked for me to "try this", and set down a new iced cappuccino with less cream. I told him it was better after taking a sip and I left. The lady walked off when the other worker handed me my new coffee, but I was just left completely turned after the interaction. I understand it was very early and she had probably been working since 2/3am, but am I wrong in thinking that my question was pretty simple? I'm not sure. I love their iced cappuccinos though so I'll be back, but for now this is my experience. I...
Read morePrevious review 2 stars: I went here because I was craving a boston cream donut. I've gotten them from here in the past and they hit the spot. I normally go to a different location on Ironwood and closer to the morning and have been happy. This time I swung by this location after work, so it was about 5:45 pm. I ended up ordering a half dozen ( mixture of boston cream, glazed, frosted, and jelly filled) and some of the munchkins. EVERY SINGLE donut already seemed like it was day old. GROSS! They were all dry. To make matters worse, apparently Dunkin Donuts thinks it's a cute idea to make heart shaped donuts around Valentine's Day. That's great and all, but these heart shaped donuts (which I didn't ask for) are SMALLER than the regular ones. There was barely any cream in my small, hard, heart shaped Boston Cream Donut! I'm guessing they only make the donuts once a day and that's in the morning. Doesn't make any sense since they are open until 9 pm! Plus, I've gotten fresher donuts at a GAS STATION after work!
New review 4 stars: I've started going to Dunkin again for morning coffee. I get my daughter a sprinkled donut and I usually stay away from my usual donut to avoid my previous dissatisfaction. For a quick and affordable iced coffee it's my go to. They never mess up my coffee and when I go at 9 am my daughters donuts have always been fresh. Good...
Read moreYour manager at the Rittenhouse and Ocotillo in Queen Creek, AZ location was way out of line today. I placed an order thru drive thru, when I pulled up I noticed only one person was wearing a mask. I asked the worker if only vaccinated were allowed not to mask up and she said no. I said ok and waited patiently for the rest of my food. Should have been end of story. Instead the manager comes up and tells me that he understands I have questions about mask requirements. I told him no, I asked, she answered, end of story. He goes on to tell me about Maricopa mandates and the lack of requirements. I try to stop him and say look, I didn’t give her a hard time, I asked and now I can make an informed decision on where I eat with my kids. He keeps going but is now raising his voice to the point where all the workers have stopped working and are laughing!!! It was completely uncalled for! I don’t need to be spoken down to for asking a question, politely and then leaving it at that. Do I think it should be required at an eatery where those who are unvaccinated prefer… KIDS, YES, did I...
