I have been coming to this bar for 10 years probably a bit longer. The new GM is a great guy HOWEVER tonight I asked him if the music was going to turned off for the Sunday night game. He said well the regulars put money in the machine for music and that’s the priority. So as always the REGULARS call the shots I guess. All the times I’ve come here this was never an issue. To top it off he said that the regular people’s opinion matters more because he didn’t want to get complaints from ownership. Owners should know they have an unbelievably great place here. When you start prioritizing one group over the other we know how that turns out. I’ve never been here and had someone say that the regulars essentially run the show. Again whenever football is on that has always taken priority. He told me that he was because the cardinal game was over that’s what dictated the jukebox having priority. Again I’ve come here for over a decade and that’s never been the case. Food is the best. Atmosphere is the best. Sports watching experience the best. However Situations like this tonight is what will gradually start unraveling the way things have been here. I don’t agree with management basically giving control of bar to his buddies. This whole experience has been bad here tonight and I’ve never had anything bad to say about this bar. But the GM is making it clear that he only cares about a small group in the corner that plays golden tee golf. They have the controls for the tv and sound. Amazing because I thought my money was the same as theirs. If the owner sees this I hope you know you have a phenomenal bar and people care about it. But your current GM only cares about a small group. I really hope this problem gets addressed because I’ve spent a lot of money here over the last decade and I don’t want to see your bar go under because of a failure...
Read moreMoved out here to Gilbert about two years ago and was thrilled to have a bar right across the way from where we live like TC’s. We have been going pretty regularly until last week.
The first issue that we started to notice was this past St. Patrick’s Day when it seemed that our shots of Jameson were watered down. I didn’t think much of it, thought it was maybe the result of crazy St. Patrick’s Day festivities but since I have read different reviews and it seems that other people have experienced this issue as well.
Unacceptable…
Then last week when we went, the ultimate chain of events took place resulting in us never going back there to spend a dime in the future. Our waitress Amanda was extremely rude and the service was horrible. My wings were cold and the food just wasn’t good.
We later went into the bar, where my wife put $5 in the Juke Box but they wouldn’t play her music because the basketball game. Cool, I get it…but when she asked if she could get her money back, the bartender and waiter completely blew her off. I asked to talk to the manager, I believe his name was Jeff and he continued with insults such as “Its common sense that when a game is on that the Juke Box will not play.” A simple, “when the game is over the music will come back on”, would have sufficed. I explained to him that “We come here often and why are you talking and treating your customers this way?” and Jeff’s reply was “TC’s will do just fine without you”.
Needless to say, my family and friends will never spend a dime here again!
Supposedly veteran friendly...
Read moreLiterally have NEVER had an experience like this before: My family of five shows up at 5:50pm. We ask for a table for six, as we have one more on the way. Most of the restaurant is empty with the exception of the outer perimeter tables. The hostess asked us to wait a moment and disappeared to the back. When she came back she said “I can seat you, but you guys have to out of here by 6:30 because we have reservations for tables for six for others. Like, a lot of other people. Or you can sit outside.” So our options were to: A. quickly find what each of us wanted to eat, place our order, hope the cooks are fast, and then eat our food while on a time limit, or B. sit outside in 112* heat with kids. If this was passed down to her by the manager, he should’ve definitely been the one to come out to tell us himself. You don’t send your young hostess out to inform potential guests that their business here isn’t really worth your time of day. Not fair to her, or us. This was our first time here. We don’t know the menu, we wanted to sit and relax. We’ve been looking for a place to go for Thursday night dinners, as our kids have extracurriculars that day which keep us pretty busy. We will never come back here. What an absolute joke of customer service especially for this...
