We wanted breakfast not too far from the campground. This is definitely a local place ran by 4 or 5 women. The dining room is small with about 10 tables and nearly as many counter seats. The server was friendly and helpful but, definitely a busy worker. I ordered the 2 egg combo, bacon, hash browns add onion, English muffin, and add a side of sausage gravy. George had the Denver omlet and toast. We seemed to be there at the beginning of a rush. Our food took a bit to come out, but was piping hot, the portions were good and flavor was on point. The restroom, while clean, is peculiarity located behind a red door next to the front door and then through the kitchen. We will consider coming back should we be in the area again.

We went in for their great pancakes. But, it was after 11AM. No more pancakes after 11. But, I had a massive, awesome tenderloin sandwich. Not one of those that are thick as paper. This thing was larger than the plate and was probably a quarter inch thick. I cut it in half and was still more than full when I was done. Onion rings, we got the appetizer for our meal. That was the right choice. My wife and I shared them and were more than enough for both of us. These are the BIG ones. If you are wanting those skinny greasy onion strings, go somewhere else. I like this place.

Nice staff but food was bland. I went for lunch at this promising diner with counter seating and a bunch of tables. I ordered the Philly steak sandwich, fries and a side of coslaw. The staff was nice and pleasant. The sandwich looked good unfortunately it was not seasoned. Unsalted fries and very bland coslaw. The bun was not grilled. It was good but below average. The onion and cheese helped but couldn't overcome the unseasoned beef. Next time I'll try their breakfast.

This is the second time that I have eaten food from D's Diner! The first time my dad and I drove up and called our in as there was no inside dining at the time! I had the turkey club basket with onion rings and all of it was delicious! The onion rings were perfectly cooked and not at all greasy! The sandwich was cooked just right! This time we were able to go inside to order even though we were still carrying out! The inside was beautifully kept and spotlessly clean! This time I had the grilled chicken basket with those same awesome onion rings! The chicken was cooked perfectly and was juicy and tender at the same time! I also had the coleslaw which was sweet and creamy! The service was friendly and quick! I don't live in Quincy but I highly recommend D's Diner to everyone! I will be back the next time...

If it wasnt for the food i would absolutely 100% recomend everyone to stay away! The older waitress, who is probably in her late sixties, was probably the worse the owners have hired so far. She treated the grill cook like she was a piece of dog doo. This was the worse dispaly I've ever seen. The grill cook who has to be in her seventies was slaving away while the waitress, who might be a sister due to some of the comments i heard her say to the cook, was just slamming orders and hateful looks all around. Once my food arrived i noticed that the waitress just went to straight ignoring the cook even when a question was asked. Its just sad that the older generation can not retire due to the economy, but worse off that have to put up with hateful people like that....
