STEPHEN'S PIZZERIA AND DELI — Restaurant in Quitman

Was told that my pizza would be 30 minutes before it would be ready. I understand it’s a Friday night and I did not call ahead. Two tables who were dining in come in, have already ordered, one of them with pizza as well, and are already eating, and I still haven’t gotten my order. When I question the waitress about when my order would be ready, at this point, it’s already 20 minutes later than what they said, her customer service skills were extremely low as she decided she was going to take the opportunity to smart off. Other tables in the restaurant Looked up as though they couldn’t believe that she was making that kind of comments. When she finally brings my pizza out, she simply puts it on the table where I was waiting with no apologies or explanation. As I left the restaurant, I make the comment that I will not be back . Her response still is a thumbs up. The pizza is good but service like this will run good customers away. A simple explanation, to the customer as to why there was a delay, could’ve prevented the whole ugly scene. I work in customer service every day , if I treated my customers this way, I would not have my job...

Absolutely love this restaurant, I love that they use all fresh ingredients. Miranda the waitress is always very attentive and sweet and right on top of everything. The restaurant is a cute little quaint spot right in the heart of quitman. I will say the only complaint I have is the temperature of the restaurant. We have dined in about six times and stopped because it is always too hot in there. It is hard to enjoy your food when you're sweating. I had mentioned it to the waitress but she said the owners do not allow her to turn it down anymore. Definitely a cute restaurant but like I mentioned we stopped going into the restaurant now we just do pick up that way we can fully enjoy our meal...

My friend and I went in for lunch about 12:50ish. Waitress reluctantly sat after we told her we were dining in. While we were waiting for our food, a lady comes in a little after 1 and the same waitress who really seemed annoyed asked her if she was dining in or taking out. The lady, who’s confused, asked what time they closed and the waitress stated 2. The lady chose take out after seeing the waitress attitude. Another man comes in after 1:30 and she quickly sits him down and takes his order without asking any questions. Lol! The waitress has no customer service!
