Food is amazing and always leaving the place Im still salivating over the food, particularly the super crunch roll - that is AMAZING. It gets 5 starts for that.

However service not so good so deducting 2 stars, they were nice but I did observe on all occasions a feeling of fear of their MD and I took interest and watched her interactions with them from afar and yeah not good, and you know its bad when a customer can feel that negative presence.

**Then to top off DON'T BE SEATED UNDER THE A/Cs, in-fact just order to go and don't eat in. I realized the A/C condensation was dripping into my husbands saki cup. We tried to move our table, but couldn't escape it and then instead moved to another table immediately but was given no apologies when we explained why, instead I watched them move the table back and prepare for the next customer right under the dripping AC again. SMDH

Its really sad when you find great food that you love with not many other options in your home area, and be ruined by bad management. Nether-less I will still get takeout, even when food safety is questionable, that roll is too damn good.

Oh and forget calling them, in true PR fashion they will...

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. All of our dining experiences in Puerto Rico were amazing, until we took a chance on this place. Our waitress just completely forgot about my husband's meal. We politely asked her over and over again if she could check on his entree, once after the rest of our party received theirs, once again while he watched all of us eat our dinners, and then another time as we sat there for half an hour after our meals were finished. Since we sat right near the kitchen, we watched her leave our table every time, not once going over to check with the staff to see why my husband's entree didnt come out. We finally just told her to please bring us the check and take the entree off. Only then, did she go over to the kitchen staff, saying something snarky to them about us in the process and then they all turned and looked at our table laughing hysterically. Ive never been treated so rudely treated before by a waitress in my life. The sushi wasnt even fresh and the rolls...

Friends and I went for dinner. The first thing I noticed missing from the menu was tempura dishes. There were sushi rolls with tempura shrimp. My friends ordered shrimp salad as appetizers while I ordered the edamame, we all enjoyed. Then we ordered a bunch of rolls, I got the california and special roll called the memaye (I think that's it's spelling, it's the fancy one in the front of my pic). The california roll was ok. The special roll, was tasty, and that's when I discovered the secret to the tempura only being in rolls. They use frozen breaded shrimp. The roll was still tasty, as it had cream cheese, mayo, mango sauce, and eel sauce, but the delicate crispness of tempura was replaced by a very solid crunch of breaded shrimp. Sushi places are not too common on the island so in a pinch i...

Best sushi restaurant in the east of the island, though this time, service was not up to standards. I had to be asking for things that they missed continuously, like sauce, utensils, and napkins. Also, the miso soup was cold, and I had to return it, then it was brought back so hot that I could not eat it. There were only 3 tables inside the restaurant with clients and the servers were more into talking among themselves than providing a good service to the clients. Other than that the recaito sushi roll was delicious, as well as the fried rice and shrimps plate we ordered.

I went for dinner with my wife. She had vegetable spring rolls, tuna sushi and califiornia rolls. I had miso soup, salmon sushi and a volcano roll. We both agreed that the food was very fresh and tasty. The restaurant personnel were attentive to our needs, though not overbearing, and there was no pressure on their side for us to hurry up with our dining. The price was commensurate with what we normally pay in this type of restaurant in San Juan. We finished our dinner in one and a half hours, with a feeling of deep satisfaction with our dining experience.
