Burger King — Restaurant in Racine

12/30/24 An update on my most recent visit here, I walked in instead of getting drive-thru. The gentleman behind the counter when he handed me my cup proceeded to stick his fingers inside the cup when he handed it to me which is disgusting and then while I was waiting for my food I was watching him at the fry station, I watched him handling fries with no gloves on and with his bare hands touching the fries as he either drop them on the counter and then toss them back into the bin or use this bear fingers to take fries and put them into customer's fry containers this is unacceptable and disgusting however I'm sure that my review will go unnoticed by management.

I used to enjoy stopping in here for food on the way home, but the quality of the food after it's made as well as orders being wrong or simply missing items has escalated tremendously. For example, today my order was missing an item and a sandwich I ordered was hard as a rock and very dry as if it had been sitting in the warmer forever. The fries were also very stale. Now I could go back and complain but what's the point? One customer complaint isn't going to change anything and it's not worth my time to head back across town over a missing $3 sandwich. Rarely do I give reviews, because situations differ from one moment to the next and from one employee to the next to from one customer to the next. However this particular Burger King is perhaps the best one I've ever come across. Don't know what happened from like a few years ago, but since some time after Covid, this location has great service and actually more importantly even better people. That tells me those who work there care about working there, or at least portray the image that they care. Most important when it comes to longevity at a certain location. Burger King is Burger King. Noticed this place not getting much business and I decided to stop by later at night to get a quick bite. I was immediately greeted at the drive thru speaker and my order was taken within seconds I was already at the window to pay. I was met by a friendly smile and upbeat attitude who took my payment and gave me my drink again very quickly. The window barely had time to close before reopening and my food was there and the staff told me “You Rule” and asked if I would like a crown to which I replied with a yes.
