I had no clue that the establishment changed hands. My grandson and I walked in and it appeared there was an issue with the cashier who was sitting in the front eating area FaceTiming upset. There was a man. Telling her everything was going to be okay. We browsed the menu and I wasn’t impressed. My grandson wanted to get a burger that was supposed to have several different things on it including bacon and caramelized onions. I ordered the Italian beef. The man that was talking to the cashier offered to purchase us some Carmel cake stating it was amazing. The front dining area was dirty and the sun was beaming in so I asked if we could sit in the back. We went back there and all the chairs were on the tables so we opted for a booth. We sat down, with the cashier bringing our drinks. We then waited for over 20 mins listening to the owner telling someone what to do. My grandson went and asked how much longer. Being told there was 8 orders ahead of us however our order was small and it should be up soon. The order came, the burger was smaller than a child’s burger at McDonalds with only cheese on it. Nothing that was on the menu. The bun was burnt on one side. I was going to say something and my grandson replied it’s okay. Then I opened the beef good size. I asked for some aju being told “I put some on there. I again asked if I could have a small cup. The lady huffed and went and got it. The amazing Carmel cake was dry and you couldn’t even taste much caramel. I took 2 bites and tossed it. When asked how things were I explained the above. The owner came over and tried to explain that the burger was weighed out and everyone wants their burgers well done and she should have asked. The order was rung up wrong. I guess that was because the cashier was still on her FaceTime call when she took the order. I told her about the cake, being told it’s their best seller and it’s always moist and delicious and I shouldn’t have thrown it away. I asked why they didn’t include fries with such a small burger being asked do you know the price of food? I was told by the cashier that the fries were a small personal size. When I asked about the nachos I was told they are gas station nachos, that was a total turn off. I-went to use the ladies room. The door wouldn’t close tight so you couldn’t lock it. The bathroom was a mess like the rest of the place. I would not recommend this place to anyone! If the restaurant seating and the restrooms are unsanitary I can just imagine what the kitchen looks like. Read moreI called and ordered a $50 seafood boil. With extra butter and two koolaids. She told me it was $123. I said something was wrong. She realized that she doubled the boil and fixed it. Cool. Nbd. We gave it 15 mins before we picked up so we didn’t have to wait long once we got there. My husband and son picked up the order, when they walked in they were greeted with “Whatchu want!?” N my husband said he had our pick up, which I paid over the phone. Then he asked where the koolaids were and they argued that he didn’t order any. Someone came from the back n said he did. So he grabbed our order and left. He brings it home, the pan is Luke warm at best, not even hot enough for the butter to be melted down. There’s maybe 2 small potatoes cut up and then he shrimp smells rancid. I called to complain about the temperature and the woman on the other line was screaming in my ear telling me I was wrong and it was hot when it was prepared. We live 5 mins away.. there’s no way.
