Captain D's — Restaurant in Radcliff

I came in to order food, and was instantly greeted by a gentleman, I am guessing was a manager, he was very nice and knowledgeable about the items on the menu, I ordered three fish sandwiches, one with fries, and I asked about the fish and chicken plate, I was told that it was a good choice, so I ordered that as well. The wait for my food wasn't long at all and once my food was ready, the gentleman took the time to open each box of food that I ordered so we both got to see that everything was there, not only was the presentation of my food spot on and looking delicious, I asked for tartar sauce and he made sure to wait until the food was ready to go before he took it out of the refrigerator so it would still be cold. I am highly satisfied with my visit and will definitely be going back again soon. My food was hot and delicious just like it use too taste years ago. The reason I had stopped ordering food there was because it seemed like they had changed the recipe. The giant fish sandwich didn't taste like it did before. Well once I tasted my sandwich today, I was very happy because it tasted like it did years ago I highly recommend people go try Captain D's food in Radcliff, you won't be disappointed... I recently had the pleasure of dining at Captain D's, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, who were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout my meal. The food? Simply outstanding! Everything was hot, fresh, and made to order. The fish was perfectly seasoned and fried to crispy perfection, while the sides were flavorful and cooked just right. I especially loved the hushpuppies—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. It's clear they take great pride in providing high-quality food that exceeds expectations. What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with our meal, checking in regularly and making sure everything was perfect. It's rare to find such a combination of delicious food and top-tier customer service, but Captain D's nails it! At about 8:45pm I went to the Radcliff location and ordered a family meal and butterfly shrimp. The staff was very friendly, the young man working the drive thru was very pleasant. I believed I had ordered a large Mac and cheese as a side, however after debate with my passenger I am not sure if I misspoke and ordered fries. Regardless the employee was very understanding and friendly and simply gave me a side of Mac and Cheese not even making a big deal over what was potentially my mistake.
