So where do I start with this place let's start with a pet policy $40 a night for a pet he knew I had a dog a chihuahua I put my dog over a friend's house and he literally stalked me all week to see this dog was in my hotel room. And then on top of it no one tells you about all the weed smoke that goes on in that hotel, couldn't even take my daughter outside cuz literally all the day was smell like weed, my microwave did not work, my hair dryer did not work,and then on top of it my sink fell out,( don't forget he blamed me for the sink but you can clearly see the glue will it fell out) and then on top of everything it the place had roaches. And that's not discuss about what the toilet look like literally there was mold and black all in the toilet yes I have pictures too, And then they'll for breakfast is a joke literally some muffins that they bought at the store, no eggs, no sausage,no toast,no cereal,no oatmeal, no grits, no orange juice ,apple juice nothing. The beds are hard as a brick, with some little bitty skimpy pillows. The walls look like they have never been wiped down the floor has never been marked you can tell that by the bottom of your feet so I advise you to keep your shoes on. I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here I will take your money and go to the next hotel the next hotel might be a little bit more money but I promise you it'll be worth it. It blows my mind I don't understand how this hotel is still up and functioning with how nasty and gross it is and yes I have pictures of the sink broke the roaches the nasty walls.. then they say they give you a discount if you're a contractor or work for blue oval the discount they was going to give me is what I paid online so once again another joke.. Read more1st and most important I noticed the manger and another older employee sitting on the top balcony overlooking pool watching and taking pictures of a mom and daughter swimming in the pool. I also overheard them talking to who I think was the husband and father of the two in the pool say he caught the manger looking in their window. I know shortly after that they left in a hurry.
Now my personal complaint
The vent in the bathroom didn't work properly so when my wife took a hot shower it caused a lot of condensation making the floor wet. We had her service dog stay with us and a pet. The service dog jumped up on the bed and die to how dirty the floor was and being wet there was 3 paw prints on the mattress cover. The manager said my wife's service dog damaged the mattress cover. I tried to explain due to the floor being nasty and dirty that's why. He looked at me and said I booked the room using points and choice doesn't pay the full amount on points so now he is getting paid what he should by keeping the deposit. Also a cup of water was spilled and a towel was used to wipe it up and the towel got dirty. Again if the hotel cleaned their rooms properly this wouldn't have happened. All the hotel had to do was wash the mattress cover and the towel and problem solved. Point is the hotel manager was happy I used points of the 4th of July weekend and basically stoled the money. I spoke with a family friend which is a attorney in Hardin County Kentucky and she will be filing a small claims against the hotel and the manager next week when she gets back to town. Costing me $2,500 but she will ask for legal fee's as well. Also bed was super hard requested down floor room was told none available at check-in but night clerk said 6 was available when I asked about down stairs for a friend that might stay. Check in was 2 pm by 2:48 while I’m on the road traveling 8hrs I get a call from the lady at the front desk saying they tried to charge my card for the full day and the rest could be paid once I got there otherwise my reservation would be cancelled. I ended up paying for my booking in full through a 3rd party app they deal with payment pending on my end confirmed through 3rd party hotel claims they have no record of the payment and wants me to make a double payment. Absolutely not! After going back and forth with this lady and the 3rd party app they only blamed each other the lady said don’t worry about it we’ll figure it out once u get here as I informed her my family and I are driving over 8 hrs once i get there at almost 11 pm the lady says only thing she can do is cancel the old booking and make a new one and charge me all over again. Absolutely not! She tried to charge my initial form of payment 5 times 3 different amounts. I drove over 8 hrs we never got a room and this lady tried to make multiple unauthorized transactions on my card even after I showed proof of booking.com transaction.
