Location - I appreciate how it's so close to Ft. Knox base (if you work from there). When you're craving for a Korean food, it's easy access from post. Parking is also okay. It's best to carpool with family or friends. Atmosphere- Small family-owned business and the vibe is pleasant to eat with a group of friends or colleagues. The food is pretty good but the prices are quite high compared to the setting.
Yukgyejang: the beef was thin sliced, not shredded like traditional, which is a loss for the dish. The flavor and veggies were right on.
Ttukbokki: the sauce was thin, with gochu garu instead of gochujang. Compared to what is traditional, the flavor was the right blend of sweet, salt, and spice.
Kimchi jiggae: well served with nice chunks of tofu.
Mandu, steamed or deep fried: good quality, meaty. I personally like them with a bit more balance of green onion.
