I frequently shop at the GNC. I've eaten at several restaurants at this strip mall. The promenade as a whole is visually boring. It lacks any gardens, sculptures, fountains, and things of that nature. Some parts are decorated with plants, but the property is designed for vehicles, not pedestrians. Any foliage is overlooked as your driving by.
It needs better pedestrian access. The crosswalk across Glenwood to Panera dead ends with no sidewalks running beside the main entrance road.
I've visited and many different times of day, evening, and night. Weekdays and weekends. I've noticed the parking lot never gets full. I would recommend property management find a way to better utilize the parking lot by increasing patronage or convert some of the unused lot to green space.
I've heard rumors that the main section is slated to be demolished early 2025. Hopefully this will allow for much needed updates and improvements.

The best feature of this place is the HUGE amount of parking. And the WORST thing about this place is HOW the parking lots are divided up and how the lines are painted. The parking spaces near the sidewalks of all the buildings on the North side of the shopping center are TOO NARROW.
BE CAREFUL when driving through the parking lots. They are divided up in ways that make for totally messed up traffic patterns. For example, in the middle, there is a straight, wide, 2-way ROAD which encourages some drivers to speed through no less than 6 intersections! I went to the Dollar Store here for the first time since moving back to Raleigh it was a nice store and the young lady that checked me out had the best customer service skills. I love good customer service skills in employees. But I went to the Star Bucks afterwards for the first time and the coffee wasnt fresh or hot. The lady said that they didnt have anymore of the kind I usually get so she just started giving me what she wanted I didnt get upset I know it was after noon time but I hadn't drunk any coffee all day so I paid for it and went and sat down and read my church book that I had with me and drank the coffee but what she didnt know was I do reviews for Google and I was going to post this.
