Cinnaholic — Restaurant in Raleigh

I was so pleasantly surprised by the customer service given at Cinnaholic. Immediately when I went in, I was greeted with a smile and waited on with patience. This was my first time in the store and didn't know what to expect. The owner, Anmol, was so sweet and especially kind to my daughter. She explained the desserts and even offered a sample when we were unsure of our choice. It's rare that you see a cashier/owner really take the time to make the children feel included, but mine was smiling on the way out - and not only because a sugar high was in the making. I ordered the classic cinnamon roll and was NOT disappointed at all in the slightest. It was sweet, cinnamony, and OH SO DELICIOUS. It was only while I was there did I find out that everything is 100% plant-based, dairy & lactose-free, egg-free, and cholesterol-free. Did I just step into heaven????!!!! The second item I was received was the Very Berry Roll. I did very much like it, but I'm totally a classic flavor gal, so I preferred the other one. All in all, this was a 10 out of 10 experience. It’s hit and miss with this location. I see different workers every week (which shows the staffing isn’t that good) and they always seem short staffed and overwhelmed. I go in there today for example, the salesperson allowed 1 customer to order all the cinnamon rolls available in 1 order and we would have to wait 15 minutes to get a cinnamon roll. It didn’t make sense to allow someone who doesn’t pre-order to walk in and purchase all the available rolls but make the others wait. I live across the street and always visit but I think I’ll start going back to the one in Cary. You’re in and out! Ordered a brownie with cream cheese frosting and brownie bites and an old skool roll. Came to the store for pick up between 7 and 8pm, no one in the store accept me and the employee. I had paid online so my order was already done. The man behind the counter verified who I was and handed me my order. I was in and out in like 30 seconds flat if that. Got home and my brownie and cinnamon roll were a little colder than i hoped. But the flavors were definitely still there. I liked the icing and the frosting on both pastries and the cinnaroll was super good. 10.55 for all this seems like a great price for the quality and ease of ordering online and picking up in person.
