How have I lived within delivery distance for so long and never heard about this place?
Had it for the first time with a few friends last night. Fast delivery.
I ordered the smaller Mac and Cheese calzone with a side of N. C. State sauce (didn't seem like it would go best with mac and cheese but I wanted to try it.)
I regretted not getting the large version. I've had a lot of mac and cheese style foods before (mac and cheese pizza, mac and cheese burgers) and it has never tasted this good. The mac and cheese alone was some of the best I've ever had. Add in the fact it's in a delicious calzone crust and it was heaven.
The N.C. State sauce was good for the bits of dough I had left that didn't have any noodles or cheese. I really couldn't pinpoint the taste, but I want to say it reminded me of Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce at Sheetz or something. I don't know for sure on that, as I was not the most sober, but it was great. It would pair perfectly with a chicken calzone I would think.
Either way, it's cheap enough.. just try it. As the other reviews show, you'll probably love it.
I'm just upset I'm moving from the NCSU area in a month or two, because I won't be anywhere near convenient distance for this place.
*EDIT: Just had it a second time tonight. Probably 30 minute delivery estimated and arrived even sooner than that, piping hot. Every specific thing I ordered (zone, sauce, side [chicken tenders], and ice cream) were there, perfectly. This place is fantastic.
*EDIT2: Third time ordering. (Tonight was Standard Falling Rock Zone with sour cream, chicken tenders with honey mustard.) Order was still 100% perfect (including ingredients and sauces). Food was still even hot enough I had to wait a bit to eat. Everything was delicious. Three times and everything has still been perfect, if that's...
Read moreI had heard nothing but great things about this restaurant from friends, and when I was in the area for a basketball game I decided to finally order one to see if it really was that great. However, I guess I will never know if the chicken bacon ranch calzone I ordered was any good. So after being told it would be 30-45 minutes, we waited. Then, we waited some more! Then, guess what? We waited some more. One hour later we called again to see when the order would get here. They said, “5-10 minutes tops.” Well about 15 minutes later we got a call and our delievery person said they didn’t know where we were, and that the police had blocked off every road and they couldn’t get in. At this point we were just cold and ready to go home, (which was an hour long drive), but they kept saying that they were on a certain road. That doesn’t help us at all, because we have already stated multiple times that we are not from the area! I told them just to forget about it, because they were wasting our time. I hang up. Well once we get to our car and get out of the parking lot, not a single road anywhere near us is blocked off and you cannot even hear a single siren. Not one! Do not make the same mistake we did and waste almost one an a half hours of your time waiting for an overpriced calzone from somewhere that was not even ten minutes away. Will never do business with them because of the horrible service and...
