I understand that in North Carolina wearing a Mask for Covid is not mandatory. However, yesterday at noon I was in Jersey Mike's with about 10 other people myself & 8 of the others were doing the right thing and wearing masks. One elderly man and one young man were not. Jersey Mikes was preparing Food orders for everyone and these 2 people "could" be carrying the Covid Virus and infecting the food orders of everyone there.
Employees could at least tell those customers that wearing a Mask is preferred ???
NOTE: I did call and speak to the Manager and he reiterated that NC does not have a Mandatory Mask policy and that if Jersey Mike's tried to force Customers to wear a mask they might "lose" Customers.
My response to that is... if they Don't enforce Customer's wearing masks I think they will lose Customers. When I was there 8 of 10 Customers were wearing Masks and only 2 weren't. I KNOW I wasn't the only one watching the 2 that were NOT wearing Masks.
I know at 68 yrs old I can't go back there again if unmasked Customers are standing around inside and breathing over counters that contain both food preparation material and finished subs??
Mr Manager... I know you are in a tough spot on this issue. But I can't imagine how you would feel if someone caught Covid & died because they were in your shop in this kind...
Read moreIve never had to write a review on anyone but today was unacceptable . I called ahead to order a sandwich she said "hold on ma'am" and placed the phone on the counter. I waited on the phone for 10 minutes, she didnt put me on hold so i heard them just socializing and talking. I ended up just coming there. One lady with long dread locks asked me what i wanted I said i wanted a tuna sandwich she turned to the other lady at the register with shorter hair immediately and started fussing at her about something she asked what i wanted again I restated. I was waiting for the young man in the middle to get my sandwich so i can tell him what i wanted to add on the lady at the register start calling me "ma'am" over and over. I looked at her crazy and walked over there she said "what number did you get" i didn't know so i looked at the menu and said 10. I didnt even see my sandwich to ask for add ons before i paid. then the young man bagged my sandwich with vinegar all on his hands. No one asked if I wanted a bag, they just handed me the sandwich. Read moreThis place has the worse customer service I’ve ever experienced . I placed a $230 order to be picked up at 1pm . I arrived at 1:08 and they were just starting the order . I waited over and hour and was told they could not give me my box of brownies , nor could they give me my box of cookies . No alternative was offered , I had to ASK for a refund . This was also a catering order … the subs were supposed to be individually wrapped and boxed , we received 2 large bags of WHOLE SUBS . This was for a company meeting , how embarrassing. My order was for 1pm pickup I received this horrible incorrect order plus the refund at 2 pm : no apology , no money back , no explanation NOTHING . I will be reaching out to the better business bureau with receipts as well because this was absolutely unacceptable.
