Lobos Tacos Y Pupusas — Restaurant in Raleigh

My bf and I have traveled all over Raleigh, Durham and Cary looking for a spot like this, and Lobos Tacos Y Pupusas is the BEST WE'VE EVER HAD!!! The food is so hot and fresh, the people making everything are so nice and sweet as well. SUPER affordable, they have sauces and additions like tajin on the front bar of the truck for you to use, and the little space they made with grass & picnic tables is so cute & well maintained!!! I have ate here a few times after work and it was good enough to come back but I have been struggling to find Mexican food as good as my hometown. Today I went during lunch for an asada burrito and WOW. Pictures don’t do it justice!

I don’t know who cooks on Friday afternoons, but give them a raise!!!! The asada was much more tender & the flavor was DELICIOUS! I thought it might be slow because of the lunch rush but with more staff, they were quicker than the evenings.

It's a food truck. What su you want for atmosphere. I was behind a very large to go order and the wait was kinda long. But I'm from Texas but, not raised on Texmex food. I learned to like pupusas from my Co workers. They taught me what a good one is dosed to be like.. these were excellent. If you like pupusas filled with chicken and cheese then I really recommend these. It's simple food. But all of it is hand made in the spot....
