This was my first time eating at a Popeyes and it did not disappoint. The flavors are a bit different than what we’re used to in NC, but that’s what sets this chain apart from the typical Bojangles and KFC. We got a blackened 3 tender platter and a spicy 3 tender platter. The ‘blackened’ style chicken tenders are not breaded. The ‘mild’ and ‘spicy’ styles are breaded. We loved the blackened! The spicy was also very good and I would get it again. These were cooked perfect and some of the tenderest, juiciest chicken tenders I’ve ever gotten anywhere. No fatty pieces or gristle either which made them seem higher quality than most fast-food tenders. The chicken tenders are very skinny and small, but the generous portions of the sides still filled me up and I couldn’t finish my food. Next time I’ll just get the combo which is one side instead of two. Hopefully the amount of food will be just as much and this wasn’t just a fluke. At first I wasn’t a fan of their onion rings because the breading on them is heavy and somewhat dry. But about halfway through eating them they were growing on me and I began to like them. This location on Western Blvd is still very new and nice. The parking lot was clean. It wasn’t spotless clean on the inside, but it just needed a good sweeping after the noon lunch crowd. Also, our order was originally sent out wrong - they gave us a combo instead of the platter. I still give them 5 stars for the good food and great customer service! Their cashier Sade was extremely friendly and polite.

This was a great experience. My fiance and I eat lunch frequently in the area and decided to give Popeyes a try. Loved how the store was decorared and the variety of seating (booths, tables, bar). Self serve drinks. The staff were super polite and after mentioning to Sade that we had never ate there, she was quick to give us suggestions! I was made aware that there was a "well worth the wait" on the blackened chicken which I agreed to. We were pleasantly surprised how tender both the cajun and the blackened chicken were amazing but the latter I was blown away. Last of all I believe the value is amazing. For $7.50 (two sides), we ordered too much food. The sides are so huge that the cheaper combo of one side will suffice. They forgot one of our sides but quickly resolved the issue. The great tasting food and customer service gave me no choice but to give this restaurant 5 stars. I will be going back!

This is the POPEYE'S on Ft Bragg, NC. Store #5325 in the Main PX. I was there shopping and usually eat at this location while at the PX. I don't know if it is COVID19 or the employee and chicken shortage. This was a terrible experience from the size of the chicken to the drink machines ALL being empty. There was not even any Sweat Tea available! The person cooking the food had his mask half off his face. Which brought me a little concern. Customer experiences still matter, so I will suggest these two things to get this location back on track as I will visit and review again. 1: chicken sizes should be comparable to any other restaurant. Make sure the beverage machines are full and flowing properly, no one wants white sparkling water coming out instead of the drink they desire.

I’m a DoorDash driver. Today around 12 pm I got an order for this location. I drove from North Raleigh, about 20 mins, to get a meal for a customer. I was met with a employee, who with a smug grin and chuckle, informed me that this location no longer does DoorDash and that they destroyed their DoorDash equipment and I would have to inform the costumer. I don’t know what problem this location has with DoorDash, but this is the first time I have ever been to this location. So I, along with the customer, are being punished for something that we have no control over. I lost money that I could have used to feed my family. The customer lost a good meal and their money. I had to call and inform the customer that she paid for a meal she would not receive. I received no money. I can only assume that Popeyes received the money.

I’m not sure how it works on Popeyes end but I doubt the store manager has the right to cancel a service and I doubt regional gave him permission. Regardless even if they have decided not to use the service anymore, DoorDash customers are allowed to have me come in and purchase the order for them as an ordinary customer. This will all be reported to DoorDash. I personally will not be accepting or delivering any orders from any Popeyes locations. I will also not personally order food from this restaurant for the foreseeable future and will recommend to DoorDash that they no longer do business with this company. I believe this incident should be investigated by the regional manager and those responsible should be held...

Went to Raleigh this weekend and needed something quick, yet familiar. I hate Popeye's... wait, hear me out...I HATE Popeye's... BUT this location taste like what all the ppl from up North claim Popeye's is like. I've lived up North for over a decade, tried Popeye's and they're all TRASH!🤣 Rude workers, dirty restaurants and bad food! NOT this one tho... first of all, it was clean! Second, the workers were patient, nice and efficient! The grease was CLEAN... so the chicken was hot and crisp and actually tastes good! All the food was fresh and HOT...mashed potatoes, fries, apple pie, all fresh. The chicken was so fresh, crispy and flavorful that I started to go back and get some for the drive home!🤣This location didn't even have those golden colored rocks they usually pass off as biscuits. No! Taste like they hired someone's grandma to finally show them how to make a real southern biscuit. Plus, they were quick! Getting customers in and out without with a smile. I lived in Raleigh 5 years and the only good place I could get good chicken was over by Shaw University. Did I mention that the STAFF WAS FRIENDLY?! Now did it make me wanna get chicken from other Popeye's, Hell no! Only this one!🤣 I will definitely stop at this one whenever I make my...
