Scooter's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Raleigh

As I was simply wearing an Anti-Trump political tshirt, I asked if the news could be turned off. I don't go to a bar to watch the news. I was rudely told that they would not do so. Then a "regular" pointed his finger in my face and said some unkind words to me and puffed up his Napolean sized 5'3" stature and tried to get aggressive with my husband. I asked the gentleman to get his finger out of my f*cking face, and I got told to calm down by the bartender. No one told the men to leave me alone. I got told to calm down, like it was my fault.

Another "regular" informed me that I chose the wrong bar to wear a shirt that stated my 1st Amendment rights. The men said I came in asking for trouble. The question I have is if a woman came in wearing a revealing shirt, would she be asking for trouble too?

I wasn't wearing a demeaning shirt, no profanity, not even mention of Trump. I was simply exercising my right to free speech. Apparently that's not accepted there.

We had THE BEST time at Scooter’s! Amanda and Ollie were amazing today and went above and beyond throughout our visit. Their enthusiasm, attentiveness, and genuine kindness made our dining experience exceptional. We truly appreciated their dedication and the positive energy they brought to the table!

Everyone was so sweet and interacted with our little one in such an admirable way—Amanda even took the time to play towers with him for quite a while, and our son thoroughly enjoyed playing with her! The food was also super delicious—it was nice to finally branch out from the limited menu at Edit. There are so many additions to this spot that will have us coming back in no time. We loved the upstairs section with all the games, as well as the board games available downstairs.

Had an amazing time at Scooters Bar! The atmosphere here is absolutely fantastic - really lively and welcoming. The staff and patrons are genuinely great people who make you feel right at home.

I was impressed with their food selection and the beer prices are very reasonable, which is always a plus. The place is spotlessly clean and has such a vibrant energy that makes it a perfect spot to hang out.

Special shoutout to Hope, our bartender, who was absolutely awesome - friendly, attentive, and really added to the overall great experience!
