I was ready to love this local bakery. It looked cute and drew me in while I was waiting for my food at the Korean restaurant nearby. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The atmosphere was cute, but it was very warm inside which kind of bothered me since it’s 101 today and the poor girl had to work with little to no air. Also, it bothers me that product like cookies and cake are stored at this temp. Some items are refrigerated but not everything. The strawberry lemonade cake looked good and it was going to try the biscoff as well. That is until I was I firmed that each b slice was over $11! With tax. These are average cake slices and average looking cake. Honestly, I wanted to just walk away, but there were no customers and I really wanted to support this local business. I also bought 1 small strawberry cookie. I was ready to buy 4 so I could get a few for my nephew, but when she did they were $3.25 each, I decided one is all I could afford. It is good that I did not get more as they were not fresh and lacked flavor. They were dry and stale. I could tell they had been sitting for a while. Either that , or they were just bad. Also, the cake left a lot to be desired. I read another review and the lady described my experience perfectly: they added some kind of syrup to keep it moist. This was overdone and the cake tastes almost gummy. It had a lot of artificial flavor and was not good. Overall, the lack of freshness and excessive pricing led me to choose to give a negative review. You can only charge those prices ( especially in an area like this) for incredible desserts. I wish they were and that I could give a better review. I do believe that this place can redeem itself by only selling fresh product, keeping the air on for the workers and customers and Lorri g prices to a fair rate for the product. I wish them better days. But at $15 for a cake slice and small cookie, I was NOT impressed!

The triple choclate cupcake, was delicious, the cake itself is a light sponge with semi sweet choclate chips and just on the right side of soft, it balances well with the frosting which is artfully spiraled on top. Being triple chocolate, I had some chocolate syrup and half of a little browine to crown this scrumptious creation! Shared it with my partner who gave it two thumbs up and a, it's good, where did you get it. (Pretty much a 4 star review from them) so I know I'll be coming back for more cupcakes! The strawberry parfait was wonderful. It gave me a warm spring day and a fun summer memory reminder that I need to schedule to go picking with my mom agian. The layers even each other out and make each bite sweet and yet like you could have another. Left me thinking, just one more bite, then I'll stop. Beautiful and sweet taste of summer in a cup. I have made nana pudding having it passed down through grandmother's and mothers. This wasn't my nana pudding, but it was still light and fluffy in the best ways, which made me rethink what I was making for dinner. The pudding is floofy with a taste of vanilla and bananas, with nilla wafers to complement. I can't wait to stop by again and grab a dozen on Wednesday (when cupcakes are only 3$ each) to share with my coworkers. Mrs B herself is very friendly and open to welcoming you back and in for a treat! See ya'll soon!

I had high hopes for Madame B’s Bakery when I ordered a custom cake for $200, but unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The cake I received was nothing like the design I had carefully shared. The first picture I sent was exactly what I envisioned, but the result was a far cry from it. The cake itself was dry and clearly made from a box mix, and the frosting was gritty—I'm no stranger to Betty Crocker, and it tasted exactly like that. The design was a complete disaster: instead of the elegant look I requested, the cake was covered in splotchy silver glitter and random gold balls and bars, which was not only a design clash but also completely out of place for the style I wanted. The combination of silver and gold was not just excessive; it was downright garish. To make matters worse, the counter staff tried to cram my cake into a box that was too small, nearly ruining it further. I don't mind paying a premium for quality, but this cake was far from worth the price. In fact, my mother-in-law bought a cake from Walmart for just $28, and it was better in every way—taste, design, and presentation. I honestly cannot recommend Madame B’s Bakery, especially for custom cakes. Save your money and time—this place simply doesn't deliver the quality it promises.

Visited this place yesterday and can honestly say I will probably not be back. The customer service was admirable but the young man that was working out front was unknowledgeable about the menu, prices, and contents of some of the items (particularly rather the icing was whipped, buttercream, homemade, etc.) There was a very small selection, maybe 4 different cupcakes (One with a cherry, one with a cinnamon roll, one that had an Oreo on top which they had a chocolate and vanilla flavor, and one single red velvet), and 5 or 6 flavors of sliced cakes. Though the selection was not plentiful, it wasn't the worst part.

The most notable part of this experience, and the number one reason why I will not be back, is that they are EXPENSIVE. I don't have a problem spending money, especially when it comes to a black-owned business but this experience was NOT worth the expense. $5 for a regular, inconsistently sized cupcake. Meaning that the cupcake is the size of one you would bake at home in a regular pan and, just like at home, they are not all the same size. Some of them are smaller than the others but they are all the same price. Upon asking the person serving us what was the difference between the standard and the specialty cupcakes as listed, he went and got someone out of the back who came up front to let us know that they no longer make standard cupcakes, they are all specialty, and they are all the same price, $5. The sliced cake is about $9 per slice, and they had one available choice for a cold dessert which was banana pudding and that was $6 per cup.

Let me tell you, the banana pudding was the absolute worst part of the experience. Not only were there NO bananas in the banana pudding, but the pudding also was not giving pudding. It was giving store-bought whipped cream as it had a very distinct texture and aftertaste. It was a decent serving, but definitely was not what I was expecting and the flavor was not there at all. Literally just tasted like whipped cream and nilla wafers. I didn't finish it... after a couple scoops it was apparent that it did not taste anything like banana pudding and had a very bad aftertaste. As far as the cakes, we ended up getting the cupcake with the cinnamon roll on it, it was subpar to say the least. Very dry and just tasted like regular ol store-bought cake mix, the same for the sliced cake. We went with cookies and cream... it was very thick and had plenty of icing, it was a bit more moist than the cupcake but still tasted store-bought. And there's NOTHING wrong with store-bought but for the price it could at least be fresh. There are also plenty things you can add to box mix to make it better yet the selections tasted very generic. Spent $20 on (1) cupcake, (1) slice of cake, and (1) banana pudding. I am NOT listening to TikTok...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Madame B's Bakery, and I must say that it was an extraordinary culinary experience. From the moment I stepped through the entrance, I was greeted by the enticing aroma of freshly baked cakes, setting the stage for a delightful encounter with exceptional flavors.

The ambiance at Madame B's is both inviting and sophisticated, with a tasteful decor that reflects the bakery's commitment to quality and attention to detail. The owner Shanae and her staff, exuded warmth and expertise, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the variety of cakes. Madame B's Bakery boasts a diverse selection of artisanal treats that cater to every palate. The cakes were not only visually appealing but also boasted a perfect balance of textures and flavors.
