La Chula Michoacana — Restaurant in Raleigh

Food was not authentic and too salty. The agua “fresca” was aldo not good. It was unsweetened , full of pulp & watermelon seeds, hot overall not that fresh . I was given everything I ordered then left to my car. Shortly after I get a knock on my window that I wasn’t charged for one of the items. I get out to pay (again) and the lady got very defensive about it. As soon as I walked up she said “you didn’t order that!” even while I was paying she just kept saying “you didn’t order it! ”. If I didn’t order it, then how did the other person hear to make it ?! We had a whole conversation before I paid the first time on what to put on one and what not to put on the other. I got a bit upset at her repeating herself that finally I said “you may have not charged me for it but I definitely ordered it.“ Not to mention that no receipt was ever giving , so I have no way of confirming what was actually charged. In fact when I went back to pay the second time they didn’t tell me how much was owed, she just took my card and charged it. No prices on anything, no receipt for anything, unnecessarily defensive customer service , terrible agua fresca and to top it all off unauthentic salty food. Would...

The service here is great. People are kind and you can tell it’s family owned. Unfortunately, the wings took 40 minutes to be done. It’s a food truck and there were only 2 people waiting so I definitely didn’t expect that long of a wait. The wings were literally the smallest wings(bone in) I have ever seen! Up until Dec 2023 it was great. After it reopened in Jan 2024, prices had gone up and the quality of steak on the tacos had declined.. the meat was so chewy and clumped together that I could barely chew it, and ended up throwing most of it away. The portions of vegtables declined too. I hope they return to greatness so I can come back and post a good review, its sad to see a great place...
