Festive atmosphere, rich hot food and ice cold beverages. Don't judge it by the exterior. It has the strip mall appearance outside but the inside is comfortable and welcoming. Came here for dinner and it was a pleasant experience. There might be a wait at some times but we walked right in at 6:30 on a Monday night. The atmosphere is colorful and comfortable. There's a little bit of noise but casual conversation is easy. The menu is super extensive. It's like a laminated encyclopedia! But the choices all look tasty. As indicated from earlier reviewers the portions are very large. Neither of us finished our dish and we got a to go box. I had the fajitas and the plate came out sizzling and steaming. In fact I had a foggy San Francisco flashback as they placed it in front of me and I lost visibility and my glasses fogged up. But it was worth it because the food was delicious. I will say that the beef was not super tender and the chicken may be a teeny bit dry, the shrimp was excellent. This was a texanas fajita which had a blend of all three. But it was certainly tasty and I had no complaints. Those are just observations. They have an outdoor seating area that is extensive and would probably be great in the spring and fall. Not so great for July! Parking was plentiful. I would definitely come back here again and it looked like they had some lunch specials which might be worth trying during the weekday.

I’ve driven by this place many times and always felt the urge to try it. Big mistake and pretty disappointing. For starters, the chips were fine, crispy and not oily, but the salsa was weak. Overly watery with very little chucks of veggies and zero heat. The menu is large with a lot of variety, but decided to go with chicken fajitas. What could go wrong? They came on a bed of sizzling onions and pepper, but again with very little flavor in the chicken and veggies. The refried beans were average, but the guacamole and pico were very good. Tortillas were good and it came with 4, which was still not enough for the big portion for chicken. Overall the portion size was massive and the prices are fair, but most everything lacked flavor. Service was just mediocre and not very attentive.

Me and my friend ordered choriqueso to go with our chips and it was actually pretty good!! But the steak she got on her eentre was not very well seasoned and she asked for her eggs over easy and the yolk was not runny. So she had to wait to get it reordered. But I ordered the quesabirria plate and they were just so dry and tasted like regular tacos. So I ended up removing the steak from the tortilla and eating it with the rice and beans and salad. We then ordered jalapeño poppers and they were kinda burnt because it was way too hard to bite into. So this is just a spot to come too for tacos and regular sides not really the plates. But it was still decent!

It was My first time coming to this place. The host sat our party, we ordered the ACC, seafood Molcajete (no cheese), and Pina Loca (no cheese). First, we waited a while for the waiter to take our drink order. Once we ordered we had specific instructions because of food allergies. Once our food arrived. The Acc, which was only shrimp rice and cheese had steak mixed into it. Which made me wonder, why and how? (They became sick because it’s not supposed to have any other meat mixed in.) Next up the Pina Loca presentation was cool but the taste of the sauce and steak was off putting. Lastly the Molcajete order was placed specific instructions. The order arrived with the allergen. Waited for the waiter to come back told them it was wrong. Less than 3 min later the stone that it comes in was gone and the food was presented in a soup bowl with half the food gone and it looked as if they rinsed the bowl with water and added a little sauce. The level of disrespect with food is astonishing. And the waiter had the audacity to say it’s the same amount of food that was in it. Now, the person that frequents this establishment knows exactly how much food was missing because they only order this particular dish at this place. If you can’t take the order and place it like requested then being a waiter isn’t for you. Don’t play with my damn food, we came here to eat hence the reason why were here! Where’s the customer service? The quality behind your restaurant name is lacking...

To the man that calls himself the manager at Torres on 3002 Leland Dr, Raleigh. Thursday March 27, at 8pm I placed a phone order and picked up at 8:20, arrived home 10 minutes later to realize what I ordered was completely wrong. Called the restaurant and it was already closed. Sorry it was such a late order, just wanted to get some local food for my family after providing medical equipment to those that needed it most during this hard time. I thought local businesses would really appreciate that we thought of them before the franchises. The next day I call this restaurant to inform them our order was wrong from the night before. As I was telling the manager my entree (the correct one) he then told me the dish he gave us instead of what we actually ordered. We ordered the veggie fajita’s but were giving the veggie chiladas. When I arrive to pick up the right order I asked why did you decided to give us the wrong one knowingly? The manager said sorry the cooks made a mistake it happens. I ask what do you mean they made a mistake? You told me on the phone what you gave us instead before I even explained the wrong order. Point is the current manager will provide what he feels like and hopes that we the customers supporting this restaurant will just accept it, SHAME ON YOU. let me know when management changes or we will never come back to...
