Look! Up in the sky! It's a bar! It's a restaurant! It's a wine shop! It's Uncorked!

Men: this is Chick Central on Thursday nights. I was in there one Thursday and I was the only male of about twenty patrons.

Uncorked is the best place I know to taste lots of wines for minimal cost. You purchase a $30 plastic card and get $30 worth of credits. You put the card into one of several automated wine coolers, select the size of your pour and violà!

On Thursdays, a $30 card costs just $25. On Tuesdays, Buy a $30 card and you get all food half-price.

They also have about six beers on tap.

Menu features salads, flatbread pizzas, paninis, charcuterie and cheeses.

Note: all seating is bar stools with high tables (no low seating).

We were looking for a wine bar with some small plates to sit, relax and celebrate my birthday. I googled this place and decided to take a chance. What a great decision! Absolutely everything about this place is perfect! Only about 8-10 red wines by the glass but they had something for both my wife and I and we both really enjoyed our choice. Plenty of bottles if you want something else. The food was amazing! Pear, brie, and arugula flatbread was so good. The warm olives are excellent! Meat and cheese plate was incredible. The place has a wonderful feel. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. But the very best part were the people who worked there. I haven't felt so welcome and appreciated in a long time. I sincerely thank you for a wonderful evening! This is a 25 minute drive from my house but I can say that I will drive past a lot of well known restaurants to visit again. Awesome wine equals great time! Nice selection of regional reds and whites with options of sample, half glass or fill glass pour. Price points clearly marked & it's a serve yourself wine bonanza (you use a key card which records your expenditures)... wild! 3 of us used the wine card option, plus ordered additional glasses not featured in the dispensery. The petite shiraz was an all around win for me tonight (fyi-its not in the dispensery). We werewere waited on hand and foot, with lots of attention from the charming host with his additional recommended sections and colorful descriptions. Our dinner companion took a full bottle home tonight, couldnt resist! And fyi, food was great too.
