V Pizza - Brier Creek — Restaurant in Raleigh

Highly disappointed in the repeated service fails that occurred tonight. 1) in all my years of Dining out, I have never been asked for my drink order before I had the chance to sit down…. literally getting my 18mo old in the high chair WHILE being asked for my drink order before l even had a chance to sit, let alone look at the drink list? Odd but we proceed. We order 1 regular pizza, 1 10.99 KIDS cheese pizza, drinks and 2 salads. After 30mins we get the salads & kids pizza. 2) 10-15 ADDITIONAL mins go by, still no regular pizza nor wings. the cashier claimed they were coming up. But in reality they weren’t. Moments later manager came over to ”reconfirm” our order, & claimed they were already in progress, but I watched her go back over to the cashier & have her ring the missing food again. When I asked if they were just entering the order she lied yet again & claimed they were working on it all along. Which wasn’t the case. Another couple came in at least 20mins after us and had eaten their regular pizza and checked out before we got the test if our food. We weren’t looking for fast perfect service by any means, but the repeated gaslighting & lack of accountability from both the manager and cashier was insane. If you make a mistake, like forget to ring in/ make an order, just inform the customer, most of us are understanding! 1 star because we did eventually get our food but service was horrid, prices were trash, and the gross lack of accountability will definitely keep me from returning. 3) please get a changing table in your restroom. We didn't have a great experience our first try here due to very long waits and poor service, but we decided to give this location a second chance on May 14, 2023, we ordered online for pick up, ordered a few items, including an italian beef and made it very clear in the notes that I was allergic to peppers so requested no peppers and made a special note of the allergy. Order estimate was 30 minutes, we arrived right at 30 minutes, however the order wasn't ready, so my husband stood inside and had to wait an additional 15 minutes. During that time waiting, no one mentioned to us that the beef they used was cooked in peppers or notified us if we'd like something else. We get the order and ate outside, while eating I wondered why the sandwich was a little spicy but didn't visually see peppers. Half way through I started getting ill, and realized something must have been exposed to peppers. Went back inside and notified staff, who had no idea how the meat was cooked, including the cook who prepared it! It took getting a manager who then admitted their staff was unaware but the beef gets cooked with peppers. We got our money back for the sandwich, but very lucky this was not a life threatening allergy. I spent my evening sick due to their carelessness. They admitted they seen the note of the pepper allergy on the order yet still served us a sandwich with meat cooked in peppers. We will never return. Beware eating here if you have food allergies, cooks there have no idea of the ingredients...

This was the most execrable dining experience I have ever witnessed. Literally from start to finish the worse. Our server was ill prepared for service, and had to ask another server to tell us the special and she wasn’t even sure of the special herself. We only received a few beverage napkins for an appetizer, and a whole pizza. We ordered two beers at the started and only one came. When I asked for the second beer in the middle of the meal the second one came at the end of the meal in an unopened can. We told the server who brought that beer that we didn’t want it since we have already finished our meal and ordered it 30 minutes prior. She explained with attention that the server was new and didn’t know it wasn’t a draft? I am still perplexed on how it takes 30 minutes to bring an unopened can to the table.

We ordered the meatball appetizer and it came with three meatballs on a hot metal tray with “house made ” tomato sauce overflowing the plate. So when you finish your meal you have an entire plate of sauce.

The pizza was burnt and lacked any significant flavor. We saw tables dirty at the beginning that were still dirty when we left. We will never return and tell all of our friends how terrible this place was. I don’t foresee this restaurant surviving much longer if changes...
