B&G Bagels and Catering of Ramsey — Restaurant in Ramsey

I placed an order online at their website at 11:20 am today, a Tuesday for a breakfast sandwich and a panini. The online website says 20 mins. I arrived at 11:50 (already 10 mins past the quoted time) and mentioned my order. I heard the staff saying there was an online order they had to make (my order). There were only two teens ordering when I arrived so there’s really no reason two items couldn’t have been made in 30+ mins.

It’s also so swelteringly hot in that bagel store it’s unreal. I felt almost faint after waiting more than 10 mins in the store and being told “we’re working on it”. I had to actually sit outside the store to wait for the order due to how hot and stuffy it was inside. Another customer came outside to tell me my order was ready. I got my order at 12:08, more than 50 mins after ordering a breakfast sandwich and a panini. The staff wears shirts that promote the website on the back. Why promote something they clearly don’t have a handle on. When I went to get my order I didn’t get a single “sorry for the wait” or acknowledgement of the time. I've lived in mahwah for a long time. I usually go to Buono bagels but I thought I would try something new. So I ordered at 11:45 am and it's now 12:45pm, still no food. I than called them, the girl picked up the phone and said oh yes we had the wrong address. Let me get this straight, I gave you my Phone Number and none can call me to say you have the wrong number? She than proceeded to say the guy that took your order didnt say anything and left. I explained to her you have my phone number, why didnt anyone call me, it's an hour later. She said point blank - it's not my problem. That was the last straw for me. Not only did I tell her it is your problem- I told her if my food does not come hot we are going to have a problem . She said she is just an employee and to call back when the manager is there. I will never order from this place again. Maybe they should have people that know how to take an order and address! I Placed an order through Too Good To Go, was given a pick up time between 2:30 & 4:00 PM. Arrived at 2:45, store was closed, lights out, everything was cleaned up. I was parked in front of store. Employee came out at 2:50 & I let him know I was here to pick up my order. He said they close at 3:00 & come back tomorrow. I said it was not 3:00 yet. He again said, we're closed. Also the website states the hours are 4:00 AM until 6:00 PM. He said he wasn't the owner so he doesn't know about the website so it isn't his problem. Between them closing early, inaccurate website, and the rude employee I have a bad taste in my mouth & would not come back. I can't even comment...
