I came in and placed two orders through the Dairy Queen app and one order in person. Unfortunately, the customer service at the counter was very disappointing.
The woman working the front counter was rude from the start. She charged for items unnecessarily and acted frustrated that I used the promotional rewards that Dairy Queen itself offers. When one of the burgers was made incorrectly due to a mistake in the app customization, I went back inside to get it fixed. Instead of helping, she gave me attitude, insisted it was my fault, and made me feel like I was a problem for asking.
When the burger was remade, it seemed rushed and done haphazardly — with little to no seasoning. The cherry slush I ordered tasted watered down, almost like the syrup was out. On top of that, the Blizzard I ordered (which was supposed to be a highlight) tasted like it had been mixed with other flavors instead of the one I actually chose. It was basically inedible, and between that and the burger, I ended up throwing out about half of both items.
To make matters worse, this was my friend’s very first time at a Dairy Queen, and after the poor service and lack of flavor in the food, it left such a bad impression that it’s unlikely we’ll ever want to return to this location. That’s especially disappointing for me, because I’ve been to Dairy Queens all across the U.S., and I’ve never experienced food and service this bad at any other store.
The only positive was the man working that day — he went above and beyond. He was kind, accommodating, and really tried to make sure we left satisfied. It even felt like he had to keep stepping in because the woman at the counter simply didn’t know how to speak to customers with respect. His professionalism saved this visit from being a total disaster.
Overall, credit to him, but this location needs to be addressed immediately. The food quality, the service, and the way customers are treated here are far below what Dairy Queen is known for. Management needs to step in and deal with this store...

Read moreOn Christmas Day, I went to this DQ Location. So my father decided to go for only one burger because he wanted something. We’ve waited for 15 minutes but nothing happened after we’ve paid. At 7:00pm, no burger. People were waiting and waiting and some guy said that they’ve waited almost 2 hours. Door dashers we’re there. Waiting for the food as we well but to pick up and deliver. Nothing has happened but the blizzards were coming out, not the burgers. 7:30pm, now an hour. Waiting and waiting until we got it and go but the employees were being lazy and the other employee was standing and walking a few steps while we’re waiting and people from the drive thru as well but some people from the drive thru parked and went inside at the restaurant and waited. This was so disappointing at approx. 7:45pm, we got our money back and left in which took us almost 90 minutes to give one simple item. Promising us that it will be in a minute but turned into procrastination for them doing nothing while waiting and going home. It’s supposed to be fast food not long food because fast means 5-10 minutes. This was a waste of our time because I didn’t care about it but there is a promise not to be broken but they did and I hope there is changes because this is an example of not going here and distrust us. Either this restaurant changes...
