Kim Quang Temple (Vietnamese Buddhist Association) — Local services in Rancho Cordova

Let’s just say my family and I love this temple. They have so many activities for the community, for kids and for parents.

Both of my son attend Chua Kim Quang on Saturday for Vietnamese school. They not only teach Vietnamese here but they teach kids how to be responsible young adults, they have weekend activities for kids and family to enjoy. They celebrate certain events and holidays here. This place makes you feel so welcome and apart of the temple.

School begins from 9am to 3pm so we feel like our kids get the maximum amount of learning within one day. My oldest son even joined their Lion dance team.

I meant this place just has it all compare to all the other temple...

The place is wonderful and peaceful the people are very nice and friendly. Great place if you want to sit and meditate or have a lunch Bach you brought with you. Between your errands and on your freetime. The people there are very much willing to invite you to see one of their services on Sundays and to afterwards enjoy the free vegetarian buffet. I love this place. Its very peaceful and calm. The monks are very nice kind and polite. They often have festivals, open meditation, kids events as well as regular scheduled sermons and school type learning.
