Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

New store, went 3 times, each time the person taking orders didnt know what ingredients their rebels consisted of, each time drinks we get every day were messed up, so we typically avoid this stand. on this last time we decided to go, we went because it was the day after christmas and we didnt wanna go far.

we got a rebel that was extremely potent because they must have used the wrong size can and gave us significantly less product. we asked for light ice, so theres always some missing at the top, but not quite this much, we tried to just accept it, even though half the large size was missing, but again, once a sip was taken it was clear it was just too strong with the less product and more syrup. we went back around drive thru, the guy had us talk to the manager, i wasnt being aggressive just wanted some soda water or something to even out the taste but the manager was so afraid of confrontation that he kept filling in my sentences or explaining how some will be missing with light ice as we already knew, but not as much that was missing. nice people, but many many mistakes, this is the closest store to us now but we will wait a good amount of time before trying again, it feels like it just lacks experience and...

Today is my birthday, and I was really looking forward to the fun “birthday experience” Dutch Bros is known for. Unfortunately, this location left me very disappointed. The employee who took my order did wish me a happy birthday, but when I got to the window, the girl working had her back to me the entire time and only turned around to hand me my drinks. When she did, all I got was a very somber “have a nice day.”

In the past, I’ve taken my kids to other locations for their birthdays, and the staff went out of their way to make them feel celebrated—it was always such a positive experience. Sadly, that wasn’t the case here. On top of that, my birthday drink was mostly ice, which added to the letdown.

Overall, it was a really disappointing way to start my birthday, especially since I thought a Dutch Bros stop would bring joy to my morning. This experience fell far short of the great customer service Dutch Bros...

This is a new location for Dutch Bros. Every time I have tried to come here, they have only 2-3 people working inside making drinks which causes a huge line to build up. The “Broistas” are not knowledgeable on how to make the drinks and either are confused whenever we ordered, or make our drink incorrectly. There is also a lack of cheerful customer service. I know Dutch Bros is known for their friendly employees, but it doesn’t seem this location cared too much about that description.
