I've been here multiple times in the past few months. I'm so happy there is a good Chinese restaurant nearby! I always do takeout and the woman behind the counter always treats customers like old friends. She will leave the takeout container box open or poke holes in it so the food inside doesn't steam up and get soggy. That is A+ service right there!
Food is SO FAST. Literally we order and the cooks whip it out in 5 minutes (usually, although it depends how busy they are. 10-15 min to be safe).
Portions are HUGE. The takeout container of green beans was enormous, which was awesome for me because I love green beans!!
I order green beans with onions/garlic every time because there's something in there that makes you want to keep eating all of it. It's addicting. Folks, get your children to eat their greens with this dish because it is sooooo good.
I also ordered beef chow fun. It tastes like a typical one. Normally they give pretty good portions. This time might have been light on the meat to noodle ratio but other times have been okay.
You always get fortune cookies with every order.
In conclusion, eat here because it's a small Asian-owned business, there are giant portions, food is delicious and fast, and it's one of the only good Chinese restaurants...
Read moreMe and my family were in the area and looking for some good food . I came across this place on google and it looked pretty bomb so we came in and sat down to order . The man taking our order was friendly and nice, but he had what spppto be an earbud in his ear and he could t hear what I kept saying while ordering . The food came out people for all of us except my 10 year old sons food. He ordered salt and pepper wings and a cup of egg drop soup. We ended up waiting the entire duration of the meal for him to get his food. And when he got it , he was only given his wings . No soup. I asked twice for his soup and it never came . The salt and pepper wings were gross . Super salty and sweet at the same time but not in a good way . They tasted like someone rolled them in salt and pure sugar . Very gross . The rest of our food was meh . For the price you pay , definitely not worth it ! The only decent thing I can say is the rice and noodles . And my family isn’t picky at all. My husband eats and likes anything and even he didn’t enjoy his food . What a waste of money . Nobody really ate their food. We kind of just picked at the food . Presentation of the food was beautiful but the flavor is not...
Read more'Might be the worst Chinese food I've ever had. I ordered Kung Pao chicken, which is a very straightforward dish. The rice was dry and day old, the sauce had notes of something stinky, somewhere between shrimp paste and black bean sauce (both flavors that I love!), but it was a fermented flavor I can't put my finger on. Either way, not good.
I came in after the lunch rush, and there were about four seated parties eating and wrapping up their meals. More than half of the guests were Asian, which is a great sign for a positive Chinese food experience. I ordered, and proceeded to wait over 30 minutes for my to go order. I started to lose patience. I stood, waiting for my order, receiving it only to go back to work late and with a mouthful of food I regretted paying and tipping for.
Their lunch special did not come with soup or an egg roll, just the dish and stale rice. I don't understand how these places don't invest in the quality of the rice, that's half the meal!
Disappointing to spend money on food you'll just throw away. Take out the fermented bean paste for this dish,...
