Was in town for a work trip and got dinner here one evening. We came in 30 mins before closing but they happily seated us. Everyone there was so friendly and they were having great conversations with people sitting at the bar which made the atmosphere lively. We ordered the baked salmon, Big Bang and the North Star rolls (top to bottom in the photo). The baked salmon and Big Bang rolls blew us away, hands down some of the best rolls we’ve had. They were priced very fairly too. We stayed a little bit past their closing time (9pm) and were never rushed. Two employees assured us that they would be sticking around for a little bit longer to clean up so we didn’t have to worry. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll have to make sure to stop by, amazing food and service!

Sushi is good, and the servers are very nice. We ordered the Northstar, baked salmon, full house, the spicy Paula, and the spicy edamame. I would say the baked salmon was the best and the spicy Paula was the second best. The full house, Northstar, and spicy edamame were alright. I feel the biggest criticism I have is the sushi could have used more sauce and the baked salmon seemed the best probably because it had the most sauce. I would say taste wise arigato Sushi is better and their spicy edamame is definitely better at arigato. Sora Sushi is still not bad and I would say they deserve five stars.

A superb sushi restaurant located in a small strip mall. Their sushi rolls are definitely some of the best, freshest, unique, and most affordable I've had in the area with plenty of toppings and filling inside each one. While they have classics like cherry blossom or dragon, we went for some special ones. We tried the Nova, Polar Express, and Spicy Paula and liked them in that order. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive and during the Olympic season, they have TVs showing the games. There are plenty of tables and their dishware is also really unique!

Review for [Sushi Restaurant Name]

We visited this sushi restaurant twice—our first experience was great, which is why we decided to come back. Unfortunately, our second visit was a letdown.

On our first visit, the food was fresh, the service was attentive, and everything came out perfectly. We had such a good time that we were excited to return.

The second time, however, was a completely different experience. We ordered about five sushi rolls along with other main entrees, but instead of bringing everything out together, they served each item one by one over a long period. It was frustrating to sit there waiting while our food trickled in. To make it worse, they didn’t bring any of the usual sides like wasabi or ginger. We had to ask twice before we finally got them, which was disappointing.

Our server was good and did their best, but the overall service at the restaurant was lacking. We left feeling let down, especially after such a great first visit. I’m not sure if we’ll be back, but if we do, I hope they improve the way they...

I have been here twice and the food is fresh and well presented and the staff friendly and attentive. I am glad to see a family owned Sushi restaurant a short drive from work. The Apollo and the Nova rolls were great and I may ask if they can torch the Apollo roll for me some time as I favored that one. The Crepe and ice cream desert was a nice finish as I am not overly fond of Mochi. I predict more visits to this establishment are in my future, hopefully with my coworkers and family.

Update 11/26/2021 This is still my favorite Sushi restaurant after a couple of years and, fortunately, they have survived the COVID-19 pandemic. The Aspen roll is new on the menu and it has become my goto roll. Nice citrus flavor combined with heat from the spicy crab and jalapeño and umami from the torch. Personally, I opt out of the jalapeño since I'm a lightweight with spicy food. Looking forward to some other...

The music is WAY too loud and is not geared toward the genre of the restaurant, but the tastes of the 20-something year old employees .. in other words ~ loud, bass driven 'house music' Ordered the Calamari Tempura Appetizer .. could have made shoes from them they were so tough. Absolutely inedible. The Baked Salmon sushi .. it was all rice and MAYBE a tablespoon worth of salmon combined for the 8 pieces. The Teriyaki beef was dry and flavorless. Then there was the waitress, who, despite there only being ONE party of 5 dining in the ENTIRE restaurant, couldn't manage to even keep water glasses filled. Had to flag her down for water, a to go box (take home for the pets), and the bill.

This is not the first time that service has been bad .. I was hoping for the best, but I'm now convinced that I will go elsewhere...
