We were in town visiting families and we had the pleasure of dining at Modurang Family Korean Restaurant, a local favorite that came highly recommended. Our party of seven embarked on a culinary journey, exploring the extensive BBQ menu along with a delightful pot of soup. The array of side dishes was impressive, so much so that some of us were nearly full before the main attractions arrived!

The standout dishes for our table were the pot of soup and the grilled short ribs - both were exceptionally flavorful and well-prepared. Unfortunately, not everything hit the mark; the chicken and beef bulgogi were a bit of a letdown due to their dryness.

What truly made our experience memorable, aside from the food, was the excellent customer service. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and incredibly helpful, ensuring our dining experience was comfortable and enjoyable. It’s this level of care and attention that makes Modurang stand out.

I had the most delightful experience at this charming family-owned Korean restaurant! From the moment I stepped in, I felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was exceptional, with the staff treating us like family.

Now, let's talk about the food! The Bibimbap was an absolute masterpiece. The sizzling stone bowl added a unique touch, and the fresh, colorful ingredients were a sight to behold. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and the combination of crispy rice and savory toppings was simply divine.

I’ve been to Modurang twice so far, both during dinner time and both experiences were overall good. Prices during dinner time is more expensive but the food is delicious 😍 We ordered japchae, galbi, fried calamari with sauce, pork bulgogi, and modurang boxes (contains rice and choices of protein). The side dishes (banchan) were also great; they give you about 8 or 10 different side dishes. The only issue I encountered was having a lot of delays with the service. We were one of the first few parties to be seated during dinner time and we noticed other later parties got their food before us. Not sure if that was due to placing our order later than them. It also took a while to get our check, so we had to go up and ask them directly for it.

Other than that, the food is great and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s interested in family style...
