To the manager at the store: Please reconsider your actions towards future customers in relations to a brighter future.
To the workers at the store: You guys are wonderful.
-----------------------------------------My experience--------------------------------------------
Came in really excited and curious toward starting a hobby in Joinery. Poked around, had no clue what most of the stuff in the store was, fumbled and tumbled around. In which, I decided to ask someone for help, and the manager got my attention.
Proceeded with explaining what I wanted to do, could not express my ideas clearly with everything in the store being new to me.
The manager avoided what I was trying to achieve, and decided to showcase his dominance knowledge in joinery. What, how, should, and could which was all irrelevant to what I was trying to achieve. Ended with calling me "coming in here all Willy Nilly trying to achieve something?"
Star-struck with what just happen, felt crushed, hurt, and as if my soul got crushed. Excitement, gone... Curiosity? Gone... Ideas? Gone... Wanted to leave the store, but had a tiny bit of hope to stay back and fulfill my vision.
Another workers saw me fumbling around, came over and decided to fill me in with the sales for next month. With some spirit and hope back, got exactly what I wanted (with a discounted price, amazing) and a little more. I do apologize, cannot recall her name, but if youre reading this.
Thank you so much, my day was brighten by you.

Please avoid contact with the manager, not sure what is going on with his life. Seems like other customers have experienced similar things with 1 star review. I understand you, and can relate to why this place earn 1 star more specifically the manager's way of treating...
Read moreI really want to give this place a 5 star, but I had a couple experiences that force me to downgrade it to 4. In general, I’ve not found the staff to be quite as friendly or informed as they are re at the Rocklin Rockler store. One time, I had to tell the froth counter that I wanted to buy the dado brake cartridge for my sawstop, but the person didn’t seem to know what a dado was, and kept looking up and bringing back the regular brake after searching in the back. My second negative experience was when I went to purchase my sawstop. The person loading the crate into the back of my truck hit the tailgate pretty hard and ended up causing several thousands in damages, which tainted my new sawstop purchase experience to say the least. Woodcraft did have insurance that did end up repairing the vehicle without issues, but I’d be very careful if you have someone loading a crate into your truck. Make sure to tell them to be careful. The last experience was pretty minor, but also annoying. They have a policy I guess to not allow people to enter the store with backpacks, perhaps they’ve been robbed before, the surrounding area isn’t great. But during this specific visit I happened to have several thousand dollars worth of equipment in my bag and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my bag either in the car or at the front counter. I’d rather leave my license or something else. Either way, I wasn’t having that and left. I still really enjoy visiting this store and supporting this chain the best I can. I do tend to prefer...
Read moreThe store is great and has a large selection of wood craft items. The customer service, however, leave something to be desired. The sales people are friendly and try to be helpful when they can. The manager, however, is unapologetic, unsympathetic, and generally evasive. I bought a product sometime ago and was unable to try it as I have spent a lot of time in the hospital recently. The product was well past its return or exchange policy with the store, so understandably they could not return or exchange it. I brought it in just to see if I was using it correctly. The sales people attempted to help me but the manager did not. In fact, he barely said a word to me other than the word "no" before finding an excuse to walk away. He didn't even give me the courtesy of looking at me when he was talking. The store was nearly empty, there were three other sales associates and he was obviously not occupied with anything. I would say the store is a good place to go and get your hands on a product if you want to see what it feels like, and if you don't mind not having any support and their prices are okay. Otherwise, just order your products online. You'll get a better return policy and better support from an answering machine on a tech...
