If I could give this place Zero Stars I most definitely would. I went yesterday on my Lunch Break and I ordered the Combination Rice $9.00 It had the Tiniest chopped up Pieces of Dry stale Chicken and Beef (Left over Meat) at least that's the Meat I think it was. No Shrimp at All and Two freezer Burnt Pieces of Frozen then deep fried Butterfly shrimp in the same container over the Rice. For $9.00 You would think they would have it in the entire Container well they only put it in Half portion of the Tray. I never looked at My food before I left. 1st Mistake. Then I got to work attempting to eat this concoction of supposedly Combo Fried Rice. I took a few bites and I was completely dissatisfied so I called and asked why dont the rice have shrimp in it ? What were they thinking putting this together for any Human being to eat? The Lady said we put Two fried shrimp on top Next time you need to say you want shrimp inside the Rice. I said I have been to several vietnamese Restaurants and they have never served anything that came close to looking like this trash and shrimp is always included. Since the Lady was so nice. I told her thank you but no thank you. I will never be returning. Lets fast forward to 20 minutes later My stomach was turning and twisting in Knots so you know what came next. I was stuck on the Toilet in agony and pain. Then when I got home from work it got Worse I started vomiting profusely and Had severe Stomach Cramps and major Diarrhea . This place is a definite No Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm just glad I didn't eat the entire order because the food poisoning definitely wouldv'e been...
Read moreI have been here at least 30 times since my first visit and I still love the place. I always make sure that I stop in if I'm close by and sometimes even make excuses to be close by.
I love their rice noodle bowls which is served over rice vermicelli noodles with lettuce, bean sprouts, pickled carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, and crushed peanuts. I usually get the #53, which has charbroiled pork and a crispy spring roll. For a bonus of great flavors, I pour some plumb and Sriracha sauce on my food and it becomes a dish that's out of this world. I paid $6.99 and the portions are great.
The appetizers are also great and if I'm hungry enough i usually get the #2, which is the charbroiled pork salad rolls (6 pieces) served with peanut sauce for only $4.75.
They serve Coke products but since they also serve fresh brewed iced tea, which gets a bonus star from me, I've never had any other drink. But according to their menu they seem to offer a good selection of drinks. Most drinks are basically $2.25 and a bit more for some others.
The place is always clean and the employees are friendly.
Great prices + great food + great service = great value.
I will...
Read moreBest of it's kind in the area, and more! I used to have to drive 2 hours to get this quality food, but that place isn't as good as it used to be. This is the best Chinese I know of in California!
Great prices! Each average $13, and give you plenty of food. We're estimating at least one more meal worth of leftovers we're taking home! Well worth the price!
My new favorite for honey walnut shrimp and wor wonton soup! Great decor, quiet chill oldies music, wonderful padded booths, top notch! My new #1 for Chinese & Vietnamese!
Everything is perfectly cooked, and loaded! Everything has rare flavor, not bland like so many places. The meat actually tastes like it should, the veggies are flavorful, as is the broth. All the vegetables are nicely cooked or too soft. This...
