🔥 Casa Rubio's 🔥

Alright y’all… let’s talk about Casa Rubio’s real quick. I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up, but WOW… this place slaps. I’m talking fresh flavors, big portions, and some of the best salsa I’ve had in a LONG time. Like… if I could legally marry that salsa, I would 💍🫣🔥

First off, the ingredients are 👌. Nothing tastes frozen or lazy here (looking at you albertos, aibetos, and all the other alliberto rip-offs). You can tell they actually care about what they’re serving. The rice is fluffy, the beans are seasoned just right, and the meat? Juicy and flavorful like they grilled it up just for me. Every bite had me nodding like I just heard a good song 😂🎶

The portions are huge, too. I ordered a plate, thinking I might still be hungry after… nope. That plate fed me and my regrets from the week. They don’t skimp here. And the prices? Honestly, super fair for how much food you get and how good it tastes. You walk out full, happy, and still have a change in your pocket 🙌💸

The staff is super friendly, like genuinely kind and chill. No fake smiles or rushed vibes. They actually checked in to see if I was enjoying my meal and made me feel welcome.

Honestly? This is my new favorite spot. The vibes are good, the food hits different, and it doesn’t break the bank. Whether you’re solo, with friends, or trying to impress someone with good taste in tacos, Casa Rubio’s is the move 💃🌯

📍 If you’re in the area and craving Mexican food that doesn’t mess around, GO. HERE. ASAP.

👉 Follow me for more hidden gems, real food reviews, and local favs you need to try! Let’s eat our way through the good stuff 😋📲

I am on a mission to find the best street tacos locally. I noticed CR had high stars and, of course, street tacos. Another reason i chose them is that they were close to my house. I ordered the 4 street tacos plate, 2 Carne Asada, 2 chicken and rice and beans. I normally would just order the Carne asada tacos but wanted to compare with other restaurants (el merendero my go to for asada). And, i was going to give 2 of the tacos to my girlfriend. Ummm, that never happened. I have to tell you the Carne asada was some of the tastiest, tender, asada I have had in a long time. A tad on the oily side but bomb. They were no match for my appetite. They weren't too big so I had room to move onto the chicken tacos... just as tasty and tender as the asada. That just left the rice and beans (I left my girlfriend the sides... lol). I am not a fan of refried beans. But their refried beans were some of the tastiest, creamiest, refried beans I've ever had. Need I say, I'm now a fan. That left the rice. I love spanish rice. However, this is the only place I felt my meal came up short. But overall, real high marks across the board on my meal. I believe they had 4.7 stars. So far, on my quest to find the tastiest local street tacos, Casa Rubios has set the bar high at a 4.7 rating, which for now will be the benchmark. Should things change and I find tastier tacos, I will be back to change my rating accordingly. FYI, they are in the process of expanding to accommodate more dine-in guests. Done-in...

From my very first visit to Casa Rubio's, I knew this place was special. The passion and dedication of the owner, who is always hands-on in cooking, serving, and even cleaning, shine through every aspect of this charming restaurant. It's been heartwarming to see the recent expansion of the restaurant – a true testament to the hard work and love put into every dish.

The ambiance, previously cozy and intimate, has retained its homely feel even with the new space, making every visit feel like coming home. The staff are consistently welcoming and attentive, contributing to a truly enjoyable dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the food - it's nothing short of amazing! Each dish is a burst of authentic Mexican flavors, meticulously prepared and presented. The quality and taste have remained exceptional throughout my visits. For those who enjoy a spicy kick, I highly recommend trying the habanero sauce – it's a game-changer!

Casa Rubio's is not just a restaurant; it's a story of hard work, family, and culinary excellence. I'm thrilled to see the business flourishing and can't wait for my next visit. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Mexican cuisine, look no further than...

Overall, the food at this new Mexican restaurant was delicious. The nachos had a tasty clump of ingredients piled of chips. Once you finished the top layer you are left with chips. The fish tacos are not deep fried and have too much cabbage. If you take off some of the cabbage, the taco is delicious and healthy (cuz it's not fried). The chicken enchilada with green sauce was delicious. The chicken was fresh and the green sauce had a little kick which was tasty. The Spanish rice was delicious. The chicken burrito was delicious. They grill it to make it crispy without being greasy. The salsa is made with grilled vegetables and very flavorful, someof thet best I've had! They send you home with 5 items and the smallest container of salsa. For $1.35, you can purchase a second container. All in all, the food was delicious and healthier than your average Mexican restaurant.

Everything about this place is great. This is definitely my new go-to Mexican restaurant in Rancho. The food was phenomenal. I ordered menudo (which they offer seven days a week), and my son got the chicken tenders. It was probably the best menudo I've ever had. They have three types of salsa and all three are super tasty. The chips! Those red and green chips you see in the picture are specially made and different in a very good way. The habanero salsa could be thicker, but the flavor was great. It's a small restaurant, but accommodating and relaxing. The music definitely helped create the authentic atmosphere. The owner is very nice, helpful, and professional. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. We'll definitely be back.

We came for a weekday dinner. I had a chicken enchilada dinner with the ceamy green sauce and my husband had a cheese echilada with red sauce. It's nice that they give you a choice of sides besides beans and rice. The food was very tasty and I really liked the creamy green sauce. My husband liked the red sauce, which had a little kick to it. Our Server, Yolanda, was very attentive and provided some recommendations based on our tastes. The prices are very reasonable. They recently expanded. With the fluorescent lighting, in the new area, that portion lacks the usual warmth of a Mexican restaurant. Hopefully they will be able to change that, in the future. They have a full bar for those wanting a cocktail, beer, etc.
