was craving for pizza so decided to go to buffet. place was fairly empty for Saturday night. first plate of pizza and ribs, was very good! cashier told me that I could order pizza too to put on buffet area... it took maybe 30 minutes though, so I was already eating other things and didn't have room to try those, maybe 1.5 slice since the other special order pizza came much later.
the soup, chicken was good, different, the clam chowder was okay, the water and cream suspension doesn't seem right. the hot wings chicken pretty good, the other chicken, taquitos? not very good, chicken tastes grainy, not fresh, so getting second plate all the taste became the same and not so good.
so after eating about 2 plates of food, maybe... had to go to restroom and threw up like 5 times, all the soups, pizzas, etc the $14.99 down the toilet. I came out, plates were taken away, and ate some fruit.. mango so mushy seems spoiled, honey dew not ripe...watermelon, tasteless, but at least it's red and green, dessert doesn't look appealing.
overall food okay, but a lot of things especially chicken, fruit, even clams in clam chowder tasted funny, not fresh... I don't think Gordon Ramsey would be at all impressed... at least at soupplantation the soup look vibrant and food bright and fresh... the foods here look dark, old, probably frozen and heated... and very salty!
I got hungry again since I threw everything up... but I couldn't stand the smell anymore so had to...
Read moreI googled for a buffet and was in the mood for meditterranean so combined both and ended up at Dalia's Pizza. As soon as I went in the worker asked me what kind of pizza I liked I mentioned Hawaiian, Classic Pepperony, or sausage and jalapeños. Within minutes first two pizzas' come out nice and warm and crunchy crust. Tried the soup and it warmed me up, then went on to eat the lasagna, very tasty chicken and beef shawarma kebab pieces over bed of rice. Then place some hummus on the side with grape leaves, and coocked chicken pieces that looks like they were boiled in tomatoe soup and had a little to much juice, but the meat fell off the bone....... I focused more on the pasta, meats, and pizza this time...... because who really goes to a buffet to eat a salad?? Even though I did not touch the salad this time it did look good and had a fresh salad look with greens, and plenty of sides. By the time I finished my lunch I was to full to try the fruits and desserts they had available. The tables and decorations reminded me of the old Shakey pizza parlors years ago...... when they played black and white cartoons like Popeye, Hekyl and Jekyl crows, or even Mighty mouse on the projector against the wall to keep the kids entertained. A little pricey, but then again plenty...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI tried this little take-out restaurant near my house tonight. I ordered the mini pepperoni pizza. It is the perfect size for one person and reasonably priced. They were busy when I ordered, but when I told them this was my first visit and how excited I was to try it, they rushed my order for me. Incredibly friendly and great customer service! I can't wait to return and try one of their pasta dishes.
UPDATE: I've now returned to this place several times and have tried the spaghetti, the Hawaiian pizza, the fettuccini Alfredo and the chocolate cake, carrot cake and chocolate chip cookie. All are absolutely delicious. Every dish I've tried has been flavorful and cooked to perfection. Usually a place has a couple of dishes that they have perfected and the rest of the menu is mediocre. But not Dalia's! EVERY dish has been a delight! I highly recommend this awesome, family run...
