El Cerrito Mexican Restaurant Grill And Cantina — Restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga

Absolute worse place I’ve ever been to. I ordered carne asada fries and my friend ordered enchiladas and both came out awful! The second my meal hit the table I was hit with a foul smell and despite my better judgment I still took a bite and as I suspected the meat was spoiled! It smelled and tasted sour. I asked my friend if her food was okay and she just gave me a look and I said what’s wrong and she said her food was just nasty so I tasted it and sure enough it was pretty bad. She was still going to pay for her meal even though she only took two bites but I refused to so I pointed it out to the lady helping us and even she agreed the meat smelled bad so she took it back. She came back out and asked if I wanted them to make it again and I declined because my friend had an appointment and we had to leave. Then she said that the only thing she could do for me was remake it because there was no manager there to approve her removing it from my bill. I asked if there was anyone there I could speak to and she said no only her. There wasn’t anything I could do because we had to leave but I paid 50 dollars for a meal that would have made us sick had we continued to eat it and there wasn’t even someone I could speak to about the problem.

SPOILED AND ROTTEN FOOD!!! I called this restaurant since the food my husband ordered smelled and tasted spoiled, rotten...the fish ceviche was slimy... the tostadas tasted old and hard to bite. The woman who answered me was so rude and disrespectful and raising her voice at me. I asked to speak with a manager and she there isn't one....then when I said she is giving me bad service, she said she wasn't providing me a service...and at this point t I'm more upset, I did tell her she is definitely not giving me great customer service. She got upset...I told her she was being rude and that I wanted to speak with someone else...she said no and that everyone was busy ...i asked for her name she didnt want to give me her name...then she hung up on me...so I called back several times and she wouldn't answer me.....after calling and calling a guy answered me and I explained that the food was spoiled and he said to call back tomorrow when a manager was there because they are super busy...and I explained that I had a bad conversation with another woman that answered and was really rude and disrespectful, he said I don't know who she is, and to call back tomorrow and speak with a manager...I asked for his name and he didn't want to answer me...and said I'm very busy I'm going to hung up....

After this incident I told my husband what happened and he said they were rude to him too and left him on the line for over 25 mins...and when he arrived to order the food at the restaurant the phone was literally hanging and and hostess was no where...

Very very bad yesterday Sunday the 10th of July... first I know it was Sunday So understandably busy day. I get it we all get it speaking for my family.. because we went for my mom's bday because that's where she wanted to go so again it's busy time it's lunch time we arrived at amor around 12:30 we were a party of 14 we were willing to wait because once again that's where my mom wanted fir her bday. A also had called ahead for reservations ok understandable But it all became a fiasco.. we waited 2 hrs to b seated that's just the beginning of of fiasco where we were seated an where we were told that chef is being delayed ok so seated an got Salas an chips an drinks waiter took are order after 10min of being sealed then waited another hour or more for food to come then some people in are part got their food while others were forgotten an had to reorder because good wSnt prepared Who knows why the forgot their orders now be this time my family members were getting Irate to say the least 😐 Manage on deck didn't want to do anything about it I left my family because I had had enough nonsense by the restaurant it became more like lunch/dinner VERY VERY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AN SERVICE NEVER GOING Back obviously 🙄 They use2 b better b4...
